Dear all musicians out there,

Does anyone here have any experience dealing with the music store above?

I’ve email them to ask for a quote. The price they offer me for the drum set that I want to buy is really tempting. They seem to offer better price than most of the music shop that I’ve contacted. I plan to order from them and ask them to ship the drum set to Sabah.

Hope you guys can share your experienced regarding this music store.

Thanks.

Not that I don’t want to. But music store in Sabah seem like lacking of everything. I can’t find the particular drum set model that I want here. Don’t know whether they can order for me or not.

As told by the music store that I’ve contacted, the shipping cost should be around RM400 to RM500. It quite reasonable to me.

Right now I’m eyeing for the Tama Superstar Hyperdrive kit. It’s a decent drum kit for its price range and good features. Read a lot of good reviews about it too.

Buying from the manufacturer? You mean buying directly from Tama Japan? I don’t know if I can do that.

It's cheaper for them to ship to sabah than to buy from a local store there.

From what I heard, local Sabah instrument stores are SCALPER prices.

True.

The music instruments price over here is quite high, even after you consider all the shipping charges, etc. It’s better to order from peninsular. Better price and a lot of choices.

Yes and no.

For some items, you can order directly from overseas and it can be cheaper than here in Malaysia. This is because those online stores can offer great discounts, for example during holiday’s sale.

Last time I order my cymbals set from the states, I’m able to save around RM200++ after pay for the shipping charges and tax.

Added on October 29, 2008, 10:21 pmJust to confirm, is their online store working? I mean, can I do online purchase from their website?

hi bro, i understand your condition. i'm from kk, sabah too but now in jb. in sabah EVERYTHING is expensive. i belive the stuff you want there are not expensive, but VERY expensive!

cnm is a very good shop. in fact, the best shop in johor. highly recomended. i always buy from there. they offer the best price and service. but i always buy things in flesh. never use delivery though.

cheers.
