Then you are better off tailor-made it, cos almost all the ready made ones come in embroided materials.

I like cheong sam too. I have 1 tailor-made for my wedding dinner. Just love it. There r 1 cheong sam boutique at LG Equtoria Hotel, very nice 1. Or u can try Sungai Wang. There do have 2 shops there for custome-made cheong sam.

Good luck.

I made my wedding cheongsam with Auntie Theresa. Really liked her workmanship. She has been a cheongsam tailor for the past 50 years and she learnt it from the old Shanghainese sifu during her 20's... Apparently, last time, got Shanghainese in KL... now, no more liao...

Anyway, paid RM 300 for workmanship... worth every cent! Bought the cloth at People's Textile in KL. Opposite Petaling Street/ S&M mall.

U can see my cheongsam here

i'm looking to buy a cheongsam. preferable not tailor made as those can cost a bomb. price range would be under rm100 (not going to spend more for something i rarely hv the occasion to wear). the range in klcc is not bad but abit old fashion and expensive (read: more than 200++).

anyone can recommend a place?
