Hcs 5640 available already ?
why i cant get the price in website.
who bought already ,any comment ?

if the DA5000 pro is cheaper to HCS5640, DA5000pro should be superior because the cost of the HCS5640 external amp housing, sd card reader and usb direct input wont be only Rm100 isnt it? beside, its the pro version which should include some updates to the old da5000.

my opinion would be DA5000 pro is like the "no frills" 5.1 of edifier, one successor to R501. i love no frills items, so you dont pay for something you might not need. and as for the MDF, im pretty sure both systems use MDF. it's just the paint of HCS5640 is like the C3, natural wood finish.

Nothing against the C6 speaker set but i tested the FM radio and it didn't work. The sales person said the coverage is not very good in Lowyat 

thanks...i sent the unit to Edifier already. They told that they will check on it and will get back to me in two weeks time     

is there a possibility that I can still use the speaker even without the wired controller? two weeks is a long time for me to wait. I have to many movies to watch and music to hear

now i need to upgrade the remote control by using the S530 one,
which is 2.5" LCD Remote with Knob and which a slim wireless remote control.

so may i ask its posible to use S530 remote on S330 and
where can i get the s530 LCD remote? and
what the price for that.?

Okay, finally got the Razer Mako in the house. Playing songs now. First impression is... I feel that there's an over hyped on this speakers. Unless the sound will actually improve over time with extensive cooking, otherwise, seriously those who said this speaker can match the Edifier S730D, you might want to get ur ears checked immediately xD

Lesson learnt: You don't need THX certified to actually sound good ^^v

erm.. i sent it for repairs once and it came back the same. it only happens when i play certain tracks especially instrumental ones..

yeah it's connected to my laptop.

anything i can buy or make to amplify the bass? currently the woofer is on my desk, when i crank the volume up more than half the woofer would start dancing around the table. lol.

edited : EQ tuning? tuning it with the equalizer in the computer?

Now I wired the sub and sats so that the copper coloured strand on each cable is connected to the positive (red) port. Is this correct? I don't want to reverse something and blow a fuse on my new baby. XD

Second question: My extension jack's cord is long, but the C3 power cable isn't.  As it is right now most of my appliances and cables are best on the left side of my desk so it won't get in my way, but the length of the C3 power cable mandates I put the extension jack on the RIGHT side of my desk since that's where the amplifier is. I don't want the amplifier on the left because it's too close to the wall, and will get rather warm in the day, not to mention dusty because of the window. Is it possible to pick up an alternative, longer power cable and use it instead? Will it void warranty?

That white Edifier looks really pretty!  Too bad either way I can't afford S530D. 

I just managed to get to Lowyat today.Auditioned the S330 and it was superb Seems a much better investment than the S730 although the S730 has better bass.

Urghh...the S730's woofer is mega huge But the funny thing is that,i cant really notice the difference between the S330 and the S730.Maybe it was too noisy or there are a lot of other speakers playing or my ears are lousy >.<

edifier with a pretty girl

Does it produce a tight bass or is it something like Logitech's z5500's Sub? (Very deep bass, hate it)

Not recommend u do that, it will spoil C3 amp.
