Im Edifier user..but im facing a big problem

U got MP3? If got just connect it to MP3 and try wheter the problem still remain. If prob still remain then u can send it for warranty.

Hmm. You could always try plugging the set into a CD player or something... maybe try and hookup to a DVD player if nothing else?

edifier C3 switch to harman kardon soundsticks worthed or not??

If u want design, i would recommend u e3350

i have the C3 but just wanna have some other fans vote whether soundsticks will be a better competitor to it

In my opinion, both are nearly as good as each other in terms of sound and built quality.

It's down to which sound signature you prefer...

C3 does not have it's own "sound" and will follow the source, so if you use a poor source like on-board sound port, C3 will reveal it's flaws and sound weak especially in terms of bass.

i can agree with your opinion, but it's such a pity for edifier C3 with additional amplifier to be outchased by sleek designed soundstick,
had a 24bit live sound blaster attached also does not help much

Yeap, you will need at least a X-Fi series card to bring it out. If not more expensive cards like Asus or Auzentech...

So does this mean that if I want to have good sound coming from my Dell Inspiron 1420 with the C3, I STILL have to plonk down money for an external soundcard, just in case bass and other stuff not enough? The soundcard on this thing is integrated, one of those SigmaTel High Definition things. Aiyo. I'm about to pokai just from buying the speakers already...

Maybe I should drag my laptop with me to audit, but Dells are danged heavy, and I can't drive cos no car... Then again when I tested the C3 in the shop last week using my Samsung YP-U3 mp3 player, bass still sounds pretty good on rock music like AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap". Considering that my Samsung player generally sounds a bit poorer than my onboard speakers, I should be safe, yeah?

Oh yeah, if I want to buy the C3, should I wait for PC Fair to see if I can get better deals, or just go whenever? Right now where I live C3 is going for RM 390.

IMHO, I doubt that C3's price will actually drop during the PC fair. At most, they'll give u some freebies (headsets, mouse pad, bag...). Bought mine at RM390, 6 months ago.

Just got a second hand Zero DAC to pair with my C3. Changed my speaker cables to slightly thicker ones. All I can say it that it sounds more expensive . Can't complain coz investment less than RM700 for everything. Wonder if there's anything else I can do to make it better...
