Just got my Edifier s330d... I can say is..... i %^&%^& like it. The quality is much much much~~~ better than my old speaker.... Time to say elo to Edifier and goodbye my Altec Lansing.

I just got my Edifier C3 2.1 speakers today. Need some help and advice.

I am also currently using the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 (USB).

The soundcard has 4 ports/output (Front Left, Front Right, Rear and Subwoofer) and the Speaker's Amp has 2 ports/input (Left, Right).

How do I connect them? Do I just use dual RCA to 3.5mm connector from the amp to connect with the dual RCA to 3.5mm jack from the souncard? Or should I go get 2x RCA to RCA cable?

Either way will do, u can use RCA(@C3)-3.5mm(@SC) or RCA(@C3)-RCA(@SC). just make sure your soundcard got RCA out if u want to use RCA RCA method. But my personal preference is RCA-RCA

oh i forgot C3 has an AUX (3.5mm) input infront the AMP too, means you can use 3.5mm@C3 -3.5mm@SC or 3.5mm@C3 - 2RCA@SC

it's really versatile, depends on what u prefer...but sound quality wise on the different inputs i cant comment because i dont own a C3...perhaps some c3 users wana discuss whether diff inputs give diff sound?

erm...I read before somewhere that AUX input has higher sensitivity and this can give louder and fuller sound? Anyone can give some info on how this works?

when do we use AUX and do we use the RCA inputs?

Hmm...AUX input, I will try it our tonite with the C3(think I have a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable somewhere in my messy room) and let u guys know the result.

I have a C3 and it sounds fantastic (for the $$$ we pay). Tested S330 at Lowyat before buying the C3, treble is higher/ sharper, bass is definately more powerful but I feel that it's a bit muddy. Prefer C3 but I guess taste differ from person to person.

By the way, anyone here replaced their original Edifier speaker cables with something of a better quality? Any difference?

And, what do you mean by higher treble but muddy sound?

Price for C3 is about RM380 to RM410. S330 is about RM420 to RM480. Depending where u buy it.

Higher treble= very sharp sounding. Muddy bass= you can feel the bass thumping but you can't really hear it. <--- don't quote me, my own definition

i had a c3 edifier, my amps are not functioning as it should, no sound, cant adjust bass and treble. the EIDC light keep blinking when i try to adjust anything. where can i bring it to fix? any place near pj (ss2) would be nice.

the high frequency from S330 improved a lot compare to the old S2.1D, midrange wise , i wll say the S2.1D is slightly better. S2.1D has stronger bass for movie and gaming , but the bass of S330 is more ears pleasant when comes to music Also , the design of S330 is nicer too .

I do but i haven't try the stock cable.
