In history, Lu Xun shouldnt appear yet that time.....

that mean lu xun nvr exist in sango history ?

i believe lu xun made his appearance in the novel much much later

anyway, just wondering how did zoidx get all the details about each scene..
was it from real life 3 kingdom history or the sango comic by bandai?
if from sango comic by bandai where to get it apart from buying the sango sds coz i cant seem to find it online..=)

zoidx is quoting from the novel. I'm not too sure if the sango comics is true to its roots. The sango flyer at BAKUC had the earlier comics in English.

Added on November 23, 2008, 10:10 pmI dislike War of Red Cliff cause the whole thing is supposed to be in flames, and that 'red' effect susah nak buat. Hero (Huang Gai) also tak ada, and honestly this one's been done to its death.

Number 4, although i have always likes Dong Zhou (greedy, manipulative, HORNY bast*rd)  the characters tidak lengkap at all!

So that leaves imho Zhang Ban or the fight against Lu Bu. I prefer Lu Bu's fight but for one thing which i will mention later.

Why do i like Lu Bu's scene? Four of the five generals are easily recognisable - guan yu with his blue dragon, Zhang Fei and his serpent spear, liu bei and his gay twin swords and or course Lu Bu with his giant halberd. These were the kits that made me go "Wow!" six months ago and got me gunplaing again.

Additionally, the dio pans out nicely too. We have a backdrop - the tiger gate at the back, and this will make the dio look nice and compact. We might not have much space to work with (50x50 os big, but a dio that size imho will look empty, especially with SDs. I think the zeroG footie dio size is about right. We can also place pwns out back on the gate itself! Siege engines we can adapt from warhammer, kukubeh will be familiar with these cause he uses citadel paints. We can group zhang liao vs pawns around the foot of this.

I'd be honest, of us eleven now, i would say zoidx_chung, kukubeh, cryuz13 and 8tv8 are pretty much confirmed as the ones making the generals. So there's only one more general left to make, or two if we consider red hare as a seperate model.

And there's seven modellers left. I volunteer for 'small soldier' duty so that leaves six.

Perhaps we can make horses for the three brothers as well? I recall reading that duels back then were mostly on horseback. We might have to adjust the positioning a bit, or maybe liu bei horseless on the floor with lu bu about to skewer him and the two brothers charging in?

Assuming we go with 2 horses, that leaves 4 modellers left for soldier and dio duty which is imho perfect?

imo warhammer is a very good reference for doing dio. i have thier monthly magazine that can use for reference.

juz a tips if anyone wanna cover seamlines can use gam gajah....
i am using that.......but side effect is a bit difficult to sand but is cheaper than putty.....

juz apply thin layer is enuff.....

har.. want to cover Seamline ar.. .>.<  die lor.... >.<

dun want use this guan yu for group build la. for group build i want to mod the arm and leg join so that it can be more posable.

If use the guan yu.. we need to stick to green as the color scheme for guan yu's gangs~!! rite? PS .. yor kepala punya visor tu why no color it?

I want to make small soldiers! btw, my initial idea for a dio was somewhat different. I do recall the tiger gate being built accross a narrow ravine but that look plain ugly. I suggest three levels. The lowest out front (and perhaps a bit towards the left) would be where the main stars are - lu bu and the 3 brothers. Our best modellers should be working on these. Second level, more towards the left and middle would be zhang liao and a group of pawns. He was defending the gate wasn't he, as part of lu bu's forces? then we can try make it look as if he's trying yo attack the siege towers. Up top and towards the back on the gate wouls be our soldiers. i think the size of the second dio zoidx posted looks about right. The thing is, most dios i see neglect to build upwards, which is a shame.

Anyone else know where to get cheap small soldiers?
I have been asking this question for months..... 
Cheap here means less than RM5 each. Dont mind if is pirated one.

Dont have any SD Sanguo photo to share yet...... so just share my favourite SD GP20A....   

Front view of what i have in mind - a small but packed dio cause i think many dio's fail cause they have too much empty space.
But not sure if we can fit horses the three brothers...
