i would please to see this card compared side by side with 4850/4870
even now.. just a few gab left between front hdd
with some cables make them more packed...

i tot like 4870x2, it wil be cheaper than 4870 CF rite? This one should be less than 4850 CF la..

lets take a look at HD4870 1GB price - RM1xxx

and HD4870X2 price - RM17xx

Im not sure about HD4850 1GB price (currently on market is 512MB), but the HD4850x2 price suppose to be cheaper than 2x HD4850 1GB price

According to guru3d.com, ATI said that the card will retail at usd350 - usd399, which is around rm1200 - rm1400..hope it'll worth the price..

i had already waited for 4850x2 to come since July when i was first announced. but then i couldn't be bothered waiting any longer. so i got myself a pair of HIS 4850 IceQ Turbo for CF yawn.gif

the price will be slightly fall behind GTX280. Seems logical, but the GTX280 be more appeal than 4850X2 if the price isn't far.

I dunno, the ability to use 24x AA while still being extremely playable is much better than framerates themself.

And I'm still counting on the 4850X2 to win if drivers are good enough.

4830 not recommended.


4850 + 4870, still wasting the 4870's potential by some extent.
