Fate Stay Night is eroge (Ero Geimu) aka H-games.
if u played Fate Stay Night, u will know there is hentai scene there, if u play Realta Nua for PS2, the Hentai scene been removed to be made all-age game.

ps: pls ask those who played Fate Stay Night b4, bout mana transfer. or ask internet.

Lol H-game / Eroge (Erotic Ge-mu) is just a general term, it's further break down to ADV, SLG, H-RPG, bla bla bla. F/S N is an adult Visual Novel? Which means you pretty much read all the time, and the H-scenes are just pictures with voices. If ya wanna go for motional sex, there are those by Illusion, TeaTime etc etc.

Personal opinion > if you're looking for fap material just get the save data/ripped CG pack. It's a waste to personally get the games unless u can understand & enjoy the storyline.

Once listened to Eroge voicing bloopers on Nicovid ... was as funny as hell.

I think nearly every series has it's own fair share of H-games...either officially or done by the fans/doujin circles

most ppl are disappointed with the Fate anime. most thing doesnt turn out like how game is. n yes, we all wan Unlimited Blade Works n Heaven Feel route not Fate route. i was really looked forward the anime when it first announced n even got the Curtain Raiser, but the anime really let down n i dun even recommend to my fren who likes Typemoon stuff.

n of coz the art is different since the the artist is different. in anime they have their own character design to be fit n able to animate well (or easily)

sorry for teh mistake ...... but there's actually have 2 version of Fate/Stay Night (PC )&(PS 2 version is called Fate/stay night Réalta Nua) which makes me to confuse about there's no H-Scene in this game XD

For me....I only play the Fate/Hollow ataraxia version so all teh thing about F/Stay Night PC/PS2 I does not sure (because I only have the game picture =P)

FSN is not base from novel. its purely from eroge in 1st place. Though Fate Zero is out in novel. after all, its Nasu ur talkin bout. he novelist, who founded Type-Moon together with artist Takashi Takeuchi.

im not sure if most eroge is base from novel, but i dun think its true. but eroge can spawn novel/manga/anime better than those 3 spawn into eroge (well officially, not talking bout doujin stuff)

FSN is popular due to story. beside, the h-scene is very minimal. like Key (Kanon, Clannad) Type-Moon game is more on story rather than h-scene, so, even though without h-scene (Realta Nua), its still enjoyable as visual novel.

We need either Eccentrical or Yafex to answer this kind of question.

You shouldn't. Most h-games out there are just made for pr0n, but there are always good/amazing visual novels lying around and FSN is no doubt one of those. Play it and you'll understand. You could skip the h-scenes if you don't like them, and the game is still awesome.

I don't blame people who have a misconception on h-games though, after all, I myself do think if a company is confident on their material, they should just make it all-age, eg. direction Key is taking (sad that little busters then get a mature version later =/)

Anyways, I was quite shocked when I found out about FSN the first time. But I'm cool with it now... There are loads of anime which are adapted from adult visual novels and stuff nowadays since they are popular.
Mostly get turned into harem anime.

But FSN is great visual novel overall. It focuses more on the story and characters more than screwing every girl that you find in the game type of eroge ^^

too many H games... start one we'll discuss about the storyline.. hows that?
