cod4 can downgrade to shader model 2.0 with some console commands...try google it...i have a mate that playing cod4 with radeon 9600gt at the lowest resolution of course...should not be a problem for 5500

try enabling shader model 2.0 and then 3.0 u will see the shader quality is better in 3.0....u will see more depth in the overall quality of the player models etc.....anyway for the above problem i think theres certain port thats blocking cod4 from going online...i experience this before then after i change router everything went fine....try joining a cod4 server without using your router and about the iwmp stopped working thingy usually a restart solve that problem for me

bro forget about the smoke particle thing lar xD .....those ppl whine narakka lag go play at bvpn server lar....wtf man ppl rather play with lag than going to a lag free server
