is there such thing as binding a skills in dota?like a heros skills u bind to F7 or numpad 6 or something?if got how to bind?

It's much simpler using shortcuts already assigned to each skill. And if you really can't resist the urge of binding, bind heroes and minions (Chen and his koolies for instance or ones you get from using Helm of the Dominator).

there is a program to do that..but i used it a long time ago..a friend send it to me. we could assign the number keys to use the skills hotkey..forgot the name of d program

just type "dota inventory hotkey" in google or yahoo search.

Dun bind ur keys.. Later you will get used to it.. Then you can't play when you're at lanshop or competition..

better go for default hotkey

I personally find key binding an important and very useful tool, particularly for for activable items (DAGGER especially, and Guinsoo, Orchid etc). If you bind it closer to your left fingers, its easier to reach and you can react faster.

btw some useful tools for key binding includes DotaKeys, CustomHotKeys etc

lorgh every hero got their own shortcuts right, normally each skill key is near to each other. so why bother?

Why can't you bind your keys and bring those keys to whatever pc you use in a thumbdrive? I use AutoHotkey. And I bind "~" to Num7 so that easier to press with my left hand.

play more dota, then you dont need to see any key

search for autohotkey in google. nad yeah.. i u wan to play at cc.. juz bring the autohotkey installer in your tumbdrive.

Even read through the tutorial I also dunno how to use warkey, I try to customise KOTL all skills to keys "Q" , "W" , "E" & "R". In the game, i press "Q" , "W" , "E" & "R" but it was no working. Need to allow something at firewall?

ya default skill shortcut keys are fine,
but can done better with bind the numlock 7,8/4,5/1,2 to other keys for use those eqs like dagger,dagon,... in inventory

can shows alies n enemy creeps/units hp bar always, doesnt nid to press alt all the time

at least a good application for me haha ...

got some specific code for the all the keys,
check below and replace it ...
