Hi Guys,

Am looking to buy a new electric guitar to use in church and have been looking around. Any good recommendations? Versatility is important. Thanks in advance.

In all seriousness, why not a mid end Ibanez S or SA series? That's pretty versatile..... Or check Dead Eye for the best price he can get you on an Epiphone Les Paul Standard.

shape really matter meh... it's the type of wood used for the body that makes or breaks the awesome sound of a bass. so this way dont have to spend on equalizer gadgets.

yes shape is super important. sure the wood provides the tone, but the shape provides comfort. for me, even if the guitar is made with the-best-and-most-expensive-super-rare tone-wood available, if it's uncomfortable, it's scrap.
