Function-wise, yes. But the E63 is a lot thicker than E71 (initially I thought they were of the same thickness). I also noticed the keypad has more real estate compared to E71, but shorter space bar.

As a personal opinion, I like E63's front design, especially the use of space. More space for screen and keypad. As I can see the ear speaker is pushed more towards to top edge. Unlike E71, where the top edge metal part always get stained after every call. *wipe off stain* after every call *sigh*

Too bad it's thicker than E71. Maybe because of the 3.5mm jack module inside the phone *shrugs*

Yup, RM40 for peace of mind. Most probably the quoted price for AP is before bargaining takes place.

Off the top of my head, E63's casing is plastic. Other than the one you mentioned, I'm not sure either. Maybe it lacks HSDPA? I'll leave that to others to add-in

Definitely E71 is better than E63. Ask yourself first if the missing features in E63 are necessary to you.
