I've bought mine today. RM990. Red. 1GB card. Avaxx
Surfing internet with this device is fantastic. Is there any free antivirus for symbian? I mean we got free AVG or free Avira for computer, so does symbian also have free antivirus available online? I am happy with my purchase |

QUOTE(maxtor1 @ Jan 14 2009, 07:06 PM) some people may think virus may not attack symbian OS. acording to past few years, since Nokia 6630 realease the 1st 3G phone, then i am already attack by virus. it's make the phone auto restart, auto hang up call. the technician tell me was a virus. at beginning i don't believe, and i try load the same software again... it happend again. and it is my experience, believe or not is still up to u. even my PC is using "Kapersky, internet security 2009 (Original)" too. advice: try don't think Fat32 only easy effect by virus, spam, spyware.... even other OS also have virus attack. it's only depence on how they protect virus from the software that built in. Maybe I should try it You know well about Symbian and very helpful answering our inquiries. I think you better be the TS of this thread QUOTE(maxtor1 @ Jan 14 2009, 07:06 PM) Aiyo... Support Original lah. it don't cost u thousand lah... still below RM100.00 for the Original license. even my PS3 games are all Original... |

I enjoy using my e63. The batter is huge in size and duration. One full charge can lasts for 2-3 days. And if you notice, the e63 size a bit larger than e71's. I tried to patch the e71's screen protector to my e63, and its smaller than e63 screen!

E63 is just bit larger (not too larger) than E71
We can check it at pics on first post Added on January 23, 2009, 10:25 am » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Does having many applications running at the same time in the background can eats up lots of battery energy? If it does, do we have any way that we can limit the amount of running applications at one time? This post has been edited by Dry Pillow: Jan 23 2009, 10:25 AM |

QUOTE(futra @ Jan 23 2009, 12:16 PM) having many apps running in bground doesnt affect much on battery, depends on what apps ure running.. however it does affect a little bit of ur phone's performance but not too much until ur phone hangs or stops working hehe.. thanks for being helpful and informaticthere are softwares to limit usage of apps in bground but i prefer to use the default 'hold the home key and select the apps u want to close/end' method.. some ppl prefer to have certain apps in bground (contacts, logs, camera, etc) so they dont have to wait everytime they wanna use those apps.. but i believe e63 is good at multitasking while preserving battery energy.. |

QUOTE(Shafique @ Jan 25 2009, 07:59 AM) I think the small keypad is not really the main problem, but rather the space between buttons - its simply has no space at all. Unlike some blackberry or other smartphones, although their keypad are small they are still easy to be used since there some space between buttons |

E63 is a great phone for anyone use alot of free wifi and want to surf free internet with large screen.
HSDPA... well, if you can afford to pay expensive bill of HSDPA of 3G, sure you can afford to get the E71 or BlackBerry instead. No need to bother about this model does not have HSDPA |

QUOTE(ff8ong @ Jan 29 2009, 05:54 PM) I also Avaxx set....the warranty card part A you just fill in all the stuff and thrown into pos office mail box ? Err, I don't anything about this warranty. I mean when I bought it, one copy for seller, and another copy we keep it, and all the blanks are filled. Do we need to post the part A thing to Nokia? I did not know that before. |
