yes..its e72 time..

its a gud phone nonetheless...but the phone package doesn't come with usb cable and memory card at all...

another alterbative is the N78 which comes with 2GB card and usb cable....well, the choice is totally up to you :-)

I'm interested in buying this phone, not out of want, but cos I need a new phone and this is the only phone that falls into my measly budget of RM1000 and below. I think it's a really good phone for the sub-1000 market. You get:-
- QWERTY keyboard, slightly larger than E71's.
- Flashlight capability with spacebar as shortcut.
- 70% of the E71's features
- lighter version of the E71
- WIFI
- Widescreen 320x240
- slightly longer batt life (cos no GPS)

What you don't get compared to the E71 is:-
- no GPS (never mind I don't use it, yet)
- 2MP camera with no autofocus (I shall sorely miss my 5610's 3.2MP AF)

And also, becos Nokia put it in the "El Cheapo" market, the phone doesn't come with memory card (though shops will definitely put one in for you by default), no data cable and from what I heard, no games pre-installed.

Colours are by standard Ultramarine Blue (my favorite) and Ruby Red. I have not seen or heard of a black colour.

If I had more money, I'd have definitely skipped over this phone and gone for something like the N95 8GB or E71 or just wait for the E72. Two weeks ago, I checked the price and shops in Low Yat were selling for RM999 with free 2GB (if you bargained a bit, otherwise its 1GB only) and that's it. They'd also throw in a free RM50 pouch to carry it on the belt.

I have yet to go KL and check the price again (not likely this month as I'm already broke paying bills and crap). But from what I see on the forums marketplace, listed by independant sellers, the price is around RM800 - RM900 with free 1GB.

p/s Someone needs to edit the 1st post cos it states that the E63 has NaviTouch but that was a planned feature that was scrapped.

Where can I buy the leather pouch for E63? and how much will it be?

I've just bought this set yesterday. Would like to know, do we still need to charge the battery like 8 hours for first time use ? THe last phone i haf SE k550i ..no need to charge like tat, juz normal charge.

Can advice on this ?

Some of us old timers still do that out of habit. I suppose there's no harm in doing it. Judging from your post time, I think you've probably done it already. Haha. It's ok, it won't hurt your phone if you charge it 8 hours for the first time. Most phones nowadays are built with cut off circuits. If it's being overcharged, it'll just stop charging the batt and just sit there sucking power. Lol.

So please, give us some feedback to read, esp since I'm planning on getting one soon. I want to know all the good AND bad things about the phone. I've read reviews, but nothing's better than someone who actually owns it and uses it everyday like a normal person and not as a reviewer.

i would appreciate your opinion/ review of this phone...just days away from buyin but now can't dcide bet this and the 5730 xpress music... how much did u get it for...how u find the batt life?
