is this iphone works 100% or it is fully compatible to work with any telco provider in Malaysia? let's say Maxis.
Have anyone bought and brought back to Malaysia?
I afraid it won't function perfectly in Malaysia.
Thanks for your time!

QUOTE(tehoice @ Oct 27 2008, 05:35 AM) as mentioned above, I would like to ask, if I purchase an iphone and unlock it myself and bring it back to Malaysia, UK iphone 3G are locked. there is no official unlock from o2 UK so far. is this iphone works 100% or it is fully compatible to work with any telco provider in Malaysia? let's say Maxis. Have anyone bought and brought back to Malaysia? I afraid it won't function perfectly in Malaysia. Thanks for your time! The only way to unlock it so far is hardware unlock and it is not recommended as it might affect your telco signal/operation... (some forumer have a bad experience on this...) This has been refraining from buying iphone in UK so far This post has been edited by chizzu: Oct 27 2008, 06:33 AM |

If the iPhone3G is officially unlocked by Apple, it works. But if you unlock it with hardware, refer to my signature. If you planning to unlock it with software (which is coming soon by Dev-Team) i'm not sure but not recommended.

Once terbuka, everything also can masuk. Tht means once it is unlocked, no matter what SIM also can put in but must 3G SIM of course.

The only way to unlock now is through
1. Hardware SIM- such as Turbo SIM 2. Buy hacker team Dev-Team -- Coming Soon... they have yet to successfully unlock iphone3G yet..They are still trying very hard. QUOTE(d3vilzzzz @ Oct 27 2008, 09:43 AM) |

Right, thanks for all the comment, what I mean by 'unlock it myself' is referring to sending it to any phone shops or any proz to unlock the 3G UK iphone for me...
So, this is not recommended for me? |

N still no software unlocking mode for iphone 3g yet. |
