Officially, it is nicknamed as "Nature City", but because of very frequent blackouts (sometimes every week), we dub it as "blackout city" as the frequency of such occurence is high, and sometimes, one blackout can last one day.....nowadays, there are much less blackout and one blackout typically results 10 to 20 minutes...

I certainly dislike those small generators, because not only noisy, but it produces fumes and expensive to operate.......some bungalows have large generator which is good enough for airconds!

My solution during blackouts?

Buy an emergency light that is equipped with a small fan and stock up your laptop power, and you will survive that night

For that, normally, i am topless during blackout, open the door......sometimes, take a nap outside
