i never join wat in winter, but i join summer wat. as i know, winter jobs are normally (not all) in skiing resort, fast food chain, or supermarket. of course they can't give you much info for winter program NOW, as now it's still spring. u need to wait probably until august and september.
Speedwing fees slightly lesser Added on August 2, 2010, 3:04 pm

Hey guys anyone up to WAT 2010 winter program this year end? And... would summer or winter be better? as i cant find much info for WAT winter programs in terms of the jobs prospect and the places allocated..
as im with the aus Uni, i would have about 3 months plus of holiday during winter in US. else i would need to differ my sem for the summer program.
BTW i have apply through out of the box but its not confirm yet.. would speedwing be better?
Thanks guys in advance..
If you want to work in amusement parks, go for summer, amusement parks up north dont open in winter. In Winter most jobs are like servers in restaurants and fast food crew. I worked as a busser as my second job before, per day approx 12-22USD tips (not including pay). so working in restaurants wouldnt be too bad. Plus I got to eat at work too. Save money lor as im with the aus Uni, i would have about 3 months plus of holiday during winter in US. else i would need to differ my sem for the summer program.

Thanks guys in advance..
Speedwing has slightly lesser fees.
