hi.. im visiting a friend in knoxville, tennessee around end-sept or early oct this year.. it wont be a long trip just planning to be there around 3 days 2 nights.. i found out that Delta Air is selling quite affordable tickets at USD991 return tickets..

i know that i have to apply for a visitor visa and get an international passport to go.. but do i book the tickets now or do i wait until i get both passport and visa to be cleared 1st?

another thing is.. any1 can tell some good and cheap hotel there .. my budget is around USD100 to USD150 per day.. and can i book the room online too? or do u have any good travelling agents that can find me some real good prices for flights and accomodation..

lastly.. how much would i have to budget on foods .. is USD150 per day sufficient?

hey .. i was in the states for few year.. actually the ticket is cheap. i advise you to get your passport and visa first before you buy your ticket. u need ur passport number in ur ticket purchased anyway. the hotel price can varies. i suggest you to get a motel it will cost around USd 20-50 depending on location.. search expedia.com or google for motel location.food wise, if you were to eat cheap.as in mcdonald or fast food everyday.. is about usd7-15 a meal. for decent meal varies from usd20-50 . worst to worst go for chinese buffet most of the prices are below usd20. all you can eat.

Added on April 14, 2009, 5:48 pmthose of you who are going to work there.i suggest that you work with the amusement park

can use ler.. dun wry...all can

the only time u cant use is when they need ur address, if ur residence doesnt corespond to the card add, then only it might get rejected. usually this happens only when u buy online or rent car.
thx for the info

My B1/B2 visa is valid for 10 years, multiple entry. It could be as limited as single entry only too.

wooo.. 10 years.. how u manage to get that?

QUOTE(yeahs4.1 @ Apr 23 2009, 12:05 PM)
the question would be like: where are you going to visit, where are you going to stay, do you have relatives there

nothing much actually. just make sure that you answer the question without telling extra information that is not necessary

Hi, I'll be traveling to USA in a few days . I just have some concerns about stuffs that I can and can’t bring with me and if I could bring them, are there any special packaging rules that I need to adhere to. The stuffs I have in mind are:

1. Perfumes (already used)
2. Gillette razor shaver
3. Shaving cream
4. Seretide Accuhaler for my asthma
5. Ventolin Evohaler, also for my asthma
6. Hair gel
7. Cigarettes, brand name Sempoerna

Do you plan to bring these with your carry-on or check-in luggage? I believe everything you listed here can be put into check-in luggage except shaving cream ( depends if it's flammable ).

For carry-on, 4,5 and 7 should not be a problem.
As for 1,2, 3 and 6 refer to http://www.tsa.gov/311/ and http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/pro...ited-items.shtm.

Hope that helps.
