This thread is dying. My god ain't this supposed to be the post hiring season, and most of you that join this program should have gotten a job secured in hand, probably in the process of visa application.
And it's never too late to plan about your traveling plan right now. There are a lot of interesting places in USA. I believe most of you would really wanna maximize the vacation there with limited time and budget, so this is a good place to start discussing . Cheers |

Hahaha, I bet Speedwing or OOTB provided them enough information for the whole program. Not that it is a new thing, kinda common already
Just a piece of advise to those that plan to visit LA, think TWICE. |

I'm planning to go to Santa Rosa (LA and also vegas) over the span of about 10 days in end of August. Around how much should I allocate for flight + accomodation? Currently cheapest flight I manage to find is MAS from KLIA to LAX for about 4.5k to and fro.
any suggestions or tips ? There's matta fair in June, should I wait to get my ticket in the fair in June or book now? p/s: Ooops..I realized I just posted in the wrong thread..sorry..! This post has been edited by SnoWFisH: Apr 15 2011, 06:47 PM |

However, people will still go there, for the Hollywood billboard, tour in Beverly Hills, Universal Studio. |

QUOTE(yeahs4.1 @ Apr 17 2011, 03:08 PM) +1 for that. I think probably that's why it's the most expensive, because people want to go for all these, and the fact that they still want to go there even though they are expensive, makes them to make it even more expensive. LA is the worst place i've been in USA. However, people will still go there, for the Hollywood billboard, tour in Beverly Hills, Universal Studio. Not sure if i make sense here. |

If your answer is no, better get a hotel in the middle of the Strip like Flamingo or Harrah. The room rate is very cheap if you pre-book months ahead. Btw, Flamingo's buffet lunch-dinner is sooo cheap, eat until wanna vomit la. In Vegas, just do whatever you feel like doing, someone else's must-see may be different from your must-see, if you get my drift. From strippers' club to casino, from fine dining to eat-all-you-can buffet. My fondest memory food wise is the Fried Twinkies and Fried Oreos available at Mermaids slot machine in Fremont. Do check out the fremont Experience when you are there. This post has been edited by creap: May 1 2011, 06:24 PM |
