To check the coverage policy, you guys need to check with AIG.

QUOTE(ken_zie @ Nov 4 2008, 08:57 PM)
another ques... i registered for the postpaid few hours ago... around 4pm ++... and the digi staff said it'll be activated within 24 hours... i'm away far from my home and my old phone is not with me right now... very troublesome to always change the sim card to check if it's activated or not... so, can i roughly how long will digi take to activate it?
You don't need to change the sim card to check. What telco are you using now? Maxis? If out of sudden your Maxis line does not have coverage anymore then it's about time to change to Digi simcard smile.gif

Then you got no choice but to try it again and again after some time. Worse come to worse you give me your number and I'll activate by tomorrow. biggrin.gif

Prepaid has more funky stuff to suck teenagers to switch to Digi. Having said so, if you were to calculate, you still save a lot using Postpaid and that's the reason a lot of them commit to Postpaid plans later on biggrin.gif

the purchase of song is juz one-time fee. after ta tu wont be charged, xcept for the monthy caller tunes charges (RM3)..

i would tend to purchase songs whenever i cant fully utilise my DG50 package.. hehe
*
Don't do that again. Don't you know that caller tunes / International Roaming / IDD calls / Talktime transfer are not included in the RM50 commitment fee? smile.gif

QUOTE(calvin_tankv @ Dec 25 2008, 12:45 PM)
Another question:
Can I register a Supplementary Data Only SIM (DOS) Unlimited Package (RM33/month) without a registered Principle Data Unlimited Package (RM66/month)?
No, you have to sign up for the RM66 package before you are eligible to create supplementary data sim for RM33 each.

QUOTE(calvin_tankv @ Dec 25 2008, 12:45 PM)
Is it the Principle Account MUST register to Unlimited Plan first (RM66/month) then only Supplementary User or Supplementary DOS can enjoy RM33/month?
*
In one account, you only need one DOS RM66 and you'll be able to create Supplementary DOS at RM33 each.

DiGi always sms me saying "Your tariff tier has changed", I'm not sure but I noticed that it will always send me this after I made a quite long call.

Can anybody confirm with me how does this tariff tier works? I remember an old advertisement of DiGi saying we will pay less if we talk more or something.
Once you get that SMS, it means that the next call will be charged cheaper. What plan are you using?

QUOTE(dannygoh @ Dec 31 2008, 06:43 PM)
dear digi fellowers,

i want to switch to digi desperately but want a comparison between my existing plan.

I have a Mx 80 plan and 2 commitment sub line. I, primary line holder used around RM150 and enjoy whatever rate M is providing and share talk time between main and sub line. The 2 sub line do not used a lot of talk time.

Can someone here recommend any digi plan.
*
My proposal for you

Main line - Use DG 150
Supp line - Use prepaid if very very seldom use, use Family Basic plan if you call less than RM20 / month, use 1 Family if you make calls above RM30 and lots of intercalls between you and sub.

What is the different between Family Basic &  1 Family?
Family Basic
- Call charges 15 cents / min to Digi, 20 cents / min to other network
- 35% discount for Calls / SMS / MMS to mainline / other supp in your account.
- RM10 monthly fee on top of your usage.

1 Family
- Call charges 13 cents flat to any network.
- Free Calls / SMS / MMS to mainline / other supp in your account.
- RM30 commitment fee inclusive your usage.

I am still using mtv power pack. Hehe.

I sms a lot to my gf, so RM5 per month for free sms....
If you sms a lot to your gf, might as well switch to the newer Super SMS plan. You get unlimited SMS to ALL digi numbers after 5 sms a day. Also your SMS and Call rates to any network will be reduced. Best part is that you don't need to pay any monthly charges unlike MTV powerpack.

Hi.

My bro using DIGI (017-8XXXXXX) and a NOKIA phone.
He misplaced his phone (or maybe stolen).

When try to call the number; 'Sorry, Please try later'

hmm.gif
*
Ask your brother to call to Digi CS to suspend the line so that nobody can use it. Then ask the person who registered the line to walk in to the nearest Digi Centre together with I.C to get a Sim Card Replacement for free.

Don't forget that you CAN'T help someone to port in to Digi if the line is registered under their name. Example if that line is under your mum's name. Your mum has to come to complete the port in process. You can't do it on their behalf.

Sometimes the server is congested. How about give it a try later on. If the problem still persist, perhaps you could ring the CS for assistance?

p/s: Are you new Digi user? IINM for new users you'll have to wait between 2-3 days before you could login to your OCS. smile.gif

If you are on prepaid, it is RM 0.15.minute.

On all postpaid plans, the FnF call charges is 10 cents inclusive DG20.

If that's the case, perhaps you should change to SuperSMS and subscribe for SuperLongLife. smile.gif

Yes. smile.gif
Those 15 no. - 11 DiGi, 4 from other telco, you will get to enjoy RM 0.15/minute. smile.gif
Then, you can SMS RM 0.01/ SMS to those 11 DiGi no. but it still remains RM 0.10/SMS to the other 4 telco no. smile.gif

Under SuperFnF, sms are 1 cents to the all 15 numbers in the FnF list regardless you are digi or other network user.
