hiya, i'm thinking of switching from a truck...to a duck too

currently using hotlink prepaid.
i hope some Digi officers can answer my questions:
1. the free prepaid 365 validity period (after switching), when will the promotion end?
2. is getting the 365 validity period = automatically subscribe for Super Long Life? or do i need to subscribe Super Long Life after my 365 validity ends?
3. do i need to immediately purchase a reload pack after i switch? or can i reload later?
4. will i be eligible for the birthday bonus (extra 50%) on my first reload? my b'day around the corner

5. how does the b'day bonus work? assuming my b'day is on 10 Nov, reloading on which day will give me 50% more?
6. am i correct to assume that to continue using Super Long Life, i need to pay rm30 every year? can this rm30 be deducted from my credit itself?
7. will my following sinister plan work?

-> i switch 3 days before my b'day, and then get a rm30 reload, so that i get rm45->1 year later, i reload rm60 within my b'day period, to get rm90. at the same time, let them deduct rm30 to continue my Super Long Life->repeat cycle till i learn how to talk more.
sorry for the plethora of questions & thanks for answering

1. Currently it's still an on-going promotion and they didn't state how long will this promotion will last for hence switch asap before it ends.
2. Once you are ported in to Digi, you'll get free 365 validity period without doing anything and without the need to subscribe to the Super Long Life. Once they validity expires next year, all you need to do is subscribe to Super Long Life to enjoy another year of validity.
3. You don't need to reload your after you switched as Digi will grant you RM1.01 of credit and you have 1 year of validity hence you only reload when you need to make more calls / sms / mms.
4. Yes, you'll still enjoy your birthday bonus provided you registered you personal details correctly.
5. It's 3 days before and 3 days after. For example, assuming ya birthday is on 10 Nov. You'll get 50% when you reload on 3 days before (7th, 8th, 9th) and 3 days after (11th, 12th, 13th) and also on your birthday itself. You don't need to choose one day to reload to get your bonus. You can reload RM50 on 7th and you'll get RM50+25, then reload another RM100 on your birthday and get RM100+RM50 and reload another RM80 on 13th and get RM80+RM40. Total that you get in that scenario = RM115. *The maximum cap for reload bonus is RM300 means the max you reload is RM300 and you only get RM150. If you reload more, you only get RM150. *
6. No, Super Long Life won't automatically deduct your money every year. You yourself have to activate it and then only it'll deduct from your credit. Once the validity has ended, you need to activate again should you need it.
7. It'll be better to switch before your birthday just in case the port in might be delayed or something resulting you to unable to enjoy ya birthday bonus.
Hope that will give you a better understanding

the best is, when birthday coming on. can get extra credit. hehe.
Yes, extra credit for prepaid, but on the other hand, you spend it faster than postpaid

Postpaid doesn't give birthday bonus considering their rates are close to 3-4 times cheaper than prepaid. They give you bonus points instead.

with DiGi postpaid, every RM1 u spend u got 1 point.
It should be, each time you pay your bill, every RM1 = 1 point and the bonus points will be reflected on the next bill.

i think i might want to redeem the rm 120 coupon. see see what to buy. hehehe

You can redeem it anytime, bear in mind if you redeem it you'll only get the voucher together with your next bill. It's printed on the last page of your next month's bill.

what to buy at DiGi store?? YCF goodies??

You can actually use your mobile vouchers from your Bonus Points to buy YCF goodies instead of using ya cash.

I have 556 points when my last month's bill (first bill) was only RM 60.97
What is going on? This is only my second month using DiGi postpaid.

For every new line, you'll be rewarded with 500pts. Sometimes if you register during roadshow, they might even give you 3000pts

But one thing you must know is you can only redeem the points once you've been with Digi for 6 months.
