just one to share some information about digi.. found this article

http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_News/BTIM...icle/index_html

based on the article above (and some other article/news) i conclude that

- digi is a net gainers (from MNP)
- hundreds people are ported to digi per day (not thousands, as rumours)
- no impact at all from new entrant (u-mobile)
- added 166,000 new customers during the 3Q, comprising 126,000 new postpaid users and 40,000 prepaid users (mean more people signup digi postpaid, compare to their prepaid)
- no rush in 3G launches but the CEO hope they can launches 3G in 1Q 2009
- digi aiming to get one third of broadband market share within more than 3 years (ambitious but realistic)
- digi broadband targeted to "internet-starved, bandwidth-hungry", so i expect no maximum usage quota (like other operator)
- digi will manage capacity "cleverly", their data services will ride on different spectrum to avoid drop call on voice network (like other operator does)
- dont expect huge price war in 2009 (as digi profit margin decreasing in last 3Q financial report, price war mean they will suffer more)

while other operator show a good financial performance report (increasing revenue, maintain net profit margin), digi showing quite disappointing third-quarter results.

http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_News/BTIM...icle/index_html

and current economic crisis might contribute to that as well, since consumers expected to spend less. plus, digi need to use more money (expected to use more than 30% of its capital expanditure) to expand and upgrading their 3g network.

but, they still pay 78 sen a share to their shareholder rclxms.gif because they still have a good cashflow.

Why don't you change back to Digi then?

It's just a small IR hassle resulting you changing to other network and paying extra every month smile.gif

i switched from prepaid to postpaid too...
1st i also having some problem to access into OCS for the 1st week and the data no up to date, still at prepaid although using postpaid... later on i access again after week without register anything, and everything back to normal and stated as postpaid...

i dont think the maybank TAC will be any issues between prepaid and postpaid, bank never have no idea what package that we using, they just send the TAC to particular number... if u can receive SMS from your friends, should no issues on your postpaid, u should inform this issues to maybank and digi bcos is their server no working fine with each others... if you cant even receive any sms, call digi and complain...

TAC problem might because of bank server.. but so far, the TAC never failed to be sent on my celcom number. usually Maybank TAC is faster (less than 30sec) while Cimb TAC may need to wait up to 1 minutes..

You can request to disable voicemail and it will enable it to ring for around 30 seconds. If you turn off the missed calls alert, it will ring more than 1 minute. I only disabled the voicemail because it is redundant to me. smile.gif Missed calls alert is useful thus I let it activated. smile.gif

If you have an OCS account you can do it yourself by selecting My Services -> Super VMS
Else, you can always request from the customer officer either via customer hotline or D' Chat. smile.gif
