QUOTE(mkei87 @ Jan 5 2009, 08:47 AM) it is cheap but in the sgpore there is no roaming line. How long have you been with Digi? i went to the digi centre and register for international roaming.they ask me for the passport,IC,bankbook. wat a sad case?troublesome.pay up all my debts and cancel my a/c.no more digi If you've been with Digi for 6 months, International Roaming activation is hassle free and 1 click away. If you've not been with Digi for more than 6 months, they'll require Passport, I.C and credit card details. Alternatively, you can just signup for Autobilling for immediate IR activation. |

QUOTE(mkei87 @ Jan 5 2009, 10:22 PM) 2months ago.instead maxis and celcom call up to sign up for international roaming they will sign up for me straight away. Different company has different policy. Digi fixed that rule to cut down fraud cases where customers' signup for postpaid and roam kaw kaw and run away Well, since you've jumped to either Maxis or Celcom, you most probably paying even more by now |

QUOTE(Firdaus92 @ Jan 7 2009, 12:25 AM) Guys, my friend is using a china phone - BM Mobile BM1200 if i'm not mistaken. And i don't know how to set up the GPRS and MMS setting. Tried calling the helpline but they don't have the setting. The phone is not with me and my friend have no transport to go to Digi Centre. How eh guys?Sorry if this is a repost or anything QUOTE(carloompunk @ Jan 7 2009, 12:47 AM) huhu.. mybe that phone models not in their database .. i oso face the same problem with my previous china phone.. Just drop by any nearby Digi Centre and they'll do it for you. For China Phones, you need to configure manually. QUOTE(11~ @ Jan 7 2009, 12:48 AM) hi digi fans,i got some question here... 1. That supp line need to be with us for at least 6 months before you can request for that. Once you've exceed 6 months, just walked in together with the main line holder and request for your line to be separated from the main line. It takes 2-3 working days for them to separate your account, having said so your phone line will only be cut off for 2-3hours during the reregistration process. You may request for a courtesy call to an alternate contact number once they've reactivate your line so that you know when to restart your phone. 1)may i know how to change my supp line to new main line? 2)while i'm calling fren A,when fren B call me,that will be unavailable.how to active the call alert? thx 2. Turn on call waiting from your phone? |

QUOTE(11~ @ Jan 7 2009, 01:23 AM) 1)okay,if i'm the owner, but the main line is not with me.can i just bring my ic and the supp line only? 1. If you are the owner, you just need to bring your I.C to do the separation. But bear in mind you can only separate the account and register back as another main line under your name IF only you are present. You need to bring the other person together IF you wish to separate and register under that person's name.2)yup,digi has this function? 2. You can activate from your phone |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 9 2009, 12:07 AM) Well, only last year's August I began to use DiGi and during September has officially changed to DiGi and abandoned my 8 years old Maxis no. I guess we are on the same boat. My close-to-a-decade hotlink line is currently kept as my backup line. Hardly use it anymore. Most of the time using my Digi.To be honest, I was biased towards DiGi initially until my best friend who uses DiGi has influenced me because I started to call her a lot. Then, within less than a month, I decided to make my DiGi line as primary line. No more regret until now, in fact I keep brainwash others to join the smarter side! |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 9 2009, 12:19 AM) Aw, Maxis is so sad because has just lost two so-called loyal customers. I've 14 lines under Digi Now where is my Maxis SIM card? p/s: You didn't update me your DiGi no. Anyway I do bring out my 012 and 016 whenever I go out. Most of my ex-secondary-schoolmates contact me via that number hence I'm still keeping it. This post has been edited by vikingw2k: Jan 9 2009, 12:28 AM |

QUOTE(icycokes @ Jan 9 2009, 07:33 PM) hi all, The condition is you either port out the whole bunch (main line and suppline in the same account) or you stay. You can't choose to port just your supp line leaving your mainline behind. If you wish to convert from Digi postpaid to prepaid, you can just port all the lines in the same account to Maxis, then port back to Digi as prepaid. can i convert my digi postpaid to prepaid now? i called helpline they asked me to port to other telco and port back... i think it was ok, but maxis told me they cannot port my supp line! can anyone suggest a good way do port my digi's postpaid (main line and supp line) to prepaid? (any telco) |

QUOTE(icycokes @ Jan 9 2009, 08:24 PM) i went maxis just now and they said they cannot port my supp line to prepaid (they claimed they can only port my main line only) they suggested me to convert my supp line to main line (which means they will port 2 main lines to prepaid). i wonder how true is that? i went CELCOM as well.. it was worst, they claimed they cant do digi postpaid to celcom prepaid. Walk in to Digi Centre, request to terminate your supp line and reregister as a main line meaning to say you'll have 2 main lines. It'll take 2 days time. Then proceed to Maxis and port as hotlink prepaid, then port in back to Digi prepaid. this monthly subscription is really troubling me.. as now i spend most of my time not in the country. i am paying for nothing.. thanks for the prompt reply. QUOTE(orenzai @ Jan 10 2009, 01:13 PM) guys I am from Kuching, Sarawak. I would suggest you to switch to SuperSMS.My current state: Digi Prepaid Powerpack Sms use Fnf a lot but now doing reload service so msg with a lot of anonymous numbers Make calls to WM a few times a week question: shud i switch over to SuperSMS and sacrifice the free FnF sms or just stick with this? would it be a better choice to change to any of the current post paid plans? my usage per month about rm50 lidat. sometimes more sometimes less.. hope to get some advice from you people. thanks You make calls to WM a few times a week, SuperSMS's call rate is 36cts to any network. You sms a lot anonymous numbers, hence SuperSMS gonna help you a lot. If your usage is around RM50, continue using prepaid. Only switch to postpaid if your call usage is high. |

QUOTE(ResQ @ Jan 11 2009, 08:04 AM) i have ported my digi to celcom .. but my request was rejected! haiya .. i called digihelpline they said i'm not clear my outstanding balance .. but i have clear all my bill at midvalley .. now what shud i do ha? Ask the Digi dealer who process your port in application to resubmit your port-in request again once you've cleared your outstanding. Also do check up with Celcom cause you wouldn't know that you might be blacklisted due to someone using your I.C to register a line and didn't make payment.i ported to celcom becoz digi's line at my area are very very low .. curently i'm studying at uia pj seksyen 17 QUOTE(qedx @ Jan 11 2009, 08:19 AM) Nope, GPRS usage is added on top of the RM50 commitment fees. QUOTE(loong2020 @ Jan 11 2009, 10:50 AM) hey have you guys get any free reload 3X extra if you topup??..meaning if u topup rm100, u'll get another RM300 .... Not everyone will be getting it. Only selected lucky users who reloaded will get SMS 2 days after they reload.http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions...rend08/index.do QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Jan 11 2009, 08:14 PM) Anybody knows if I wish to port over to DiGi Postpaid from Hotlink via online, will I have to make the payment to DiGi first ? I do not want any service disruptions once the porting is done. 1. No advance payment required unless you are foreigner then you'll need to pay RM100 which will be credited into your first bill later on. Also, is the FnF for DiGi Postpaid applied to only DiGi numbers ? 2. Porting in to Digi will take roughly 2 working days, your line will be inactive for 1-2 hours during the porting process but you should be able to use after you slot in the new Digi card provided by the dealer. 3. Postpaid allows you to add 6 Digi numbers in FnF |
