Ok. So I got my new connection last week (Friday) and tbh I was so freakin excited to get a new 4mb connection in to replace the temporary izzi connection which I've been using for about 2mths. But little that I expected that another nightmare was about to start.

The new 4mb connection serves me quite well really, tbh, in general, yes. Browsing, good. Gaming, apart of WoW, decent. So the real problem Im having now is w WoW <=> Streamyx. Ive tried connecting to WoW via izzi and streamyx since I got my connection, and like seriously, my izzi could get better ping as compared to streamyx. And Ive ran tracert and ping to 12.129.225.103 (Jube'thos) on both izzi and streamyx. Most of the time, izzi won. Funny, I guess. I cant seem to figure out what the problem is. Im getting horrible ping for WoW now (on my streamyx) and was totally unplayable.

Ive tried to sketch down a lot of probable cause and yet to actually determine any. If WoW's laggy atm, why isnt anyone else (or so I thought) and why could my izzi get better ping and playable ping for WoW? But if it lies within my new streamyx connection, why is it only for WoW and not for anything else?

Ive been trying to crack my head open hoping that I'll be manage to solve my problem, be it by fluke or talent blush.gif but yeah.. nothing seems to work as of now. So, anyone actually have any similar problem as mine or smthng?

Jeez... that kinda sux man. I'll be moving to a new area soon and im seeing flyers for izzi. From what I'm seeing in this forum, izzi is crap. So I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I can get Streamyx there.

But seeing that even people with 4mb connection are having laggy gameplay with WoW, GOD SAVE ME!

Does anyone stay around DesaPark City? What broadband are you using? Connection decent there for WoW?

I constantly get about 118.10x range. Tried reconnect for about 20times or more. I did kept the record for the 1st 15times I tried and got sick of it =s Well, I just fixed my network card and now back on my desktop instead of my lappy so I'll try to reconfigure everything back tonight. And hopefully it'll get better. Funny thing tho is that when I tried speedtest @ speedtest.net, my download speed would always be above 3800kbps and 600kbps. And about izzi, kelvinftg, better not, lol. Been there =/

For me, the 118.100.x.x IPs are so bad they remind me of the 33.6k days

218.111.xx.xx seems ok for subang area (even better than gamepath)... but frequent spikes throughout every session is like the norm nowadays. Archimonde was a nightmare today and i had to pray that the spikes didnt occur during the encounter. Fortunately, made it through and got my achievement.

I dunoe.. but its impossible for me to get out of the 118.10x range even after trying over 30 times again tonight. Well, I finally fixed my network card and straight away tried to connect to WoW w/o tunneling service or any other configurations on regedit etc. And to my surprise, I got somewhere around 270-280ms. That was for about 10mins and I logged to continue fixing my pc.. reinstalling stuff and all that which require rebooting now and then. But hay, I do wish that it'll stay as good as that or even better after Im done configuring the other settings and probly try out a tunneling service to see how low the ping would get me to tongue.gif

Pfft. Headache. It's impossible to get another range of IP other than 118.10x and 124.x. Both these IP range would get me over 10kms by the time I log in although on few occasions it stays at around 250-350ms for a bit. And yes, I got my report number and last I called was Friday after faking DC for a couple of times tongue.gif
