Q and A codec or MPC problem, need help here..

i am facing a problem with my MPC recently.. it seems that i can play in full screen mode.. otherwise the it will show blank screen(black).. but the audio still there.. i have reinstall my codec pack quite few times after i found this problem.. but i still can't solve it..

if you use Windows Media Player 10/11, does it shows black screen too? or other players?

i can play the video by using WMP.. i just like to use MPC because it lighter.. and my WMP play video at higher rate than its audio.. it s***

I personally like MPC more than WMP when playing videos but eventually WMP11 is a good player as well especially for my music library. Btw, what codec pack you use? Did you restart your pc after uninstall your codec pack? Because sometimes, some of the codec files can only be removed for reinstallation after you restarted your pc.

i'm using k-lite codec.. i have installed several version of its.. till the latest one.. at the beginning, i thought my MPC broken down.. so i reinstall it with the latest version i downloaded from internet.. but it didn't fix it.. the problem still there.. so i tried install my previous codec.. the result still the same..

Did you try MPC Home Cinema?

 

Change to:
