its semi brick..maybe due to uncompatibility..

My case is the PSP cannot boot up when I enable the IR Shell to run by editting the VSH.txt. However, it can run manually in the game menu. Using 5.00 M33-3

guys guess what. i found the in car charger, haha. managed to charge it up to some 1% and charged it via usb on my pc.
but the sound is out though. some wires were disconnected. dropped it earlier few weeks ago.

read a post somewhere that u shouldnt charage tru usb..might spoil the psp batt if im not mistaken..due to uncompatible voltage ka...4got od..

lol..all those stuff again..many ppl r charging their devices in the car yet the device still works..there r even ppl mention don't charge ur psp using the usb port, heck..i did that for a year and my psp still running fine...hmm, regarding that irshell, thats not semi brick..let me try the application in a while..may i noe which version r u using dattebayo?

like wat u said, sony didnt put there and the usb charge (slim psp) for no reason rite..dunno la..if not the psp, maybe the other end of port? (laptop etc.) remember my fren saying using a usb controller will make ur laptop usb sot2 sikit..dunno tru or not la..just like charging ur hp thru usb

not using usb to charge though..using the usb cable that has another split end with a psp charging adapter.sot sikit? won't lar =.=...been doing that for so long and my mobo's usb slot still working -.-..ok..let me try in a while..

oooo, ok, so if want to charge psp wif usb need the psps usb cable that has another split is it? not the regular usb cable? coz mine is the one wif no split..not for psp 1..

wat i meant is, like got ps1 controller for pc using usb (cheap china made one=rm10), my fren told me that using dat will spoil the usb port on laptop, may make the port sot2 (sumtime detect device, sumtime not)...dats y la takut2 act..huhuhu

its the same, since the max current a USB port can offer is limited, got split no split also the same

as the cheapo ps1 controller, don't worry it's not the USB port sot sot, it's the PS1 controller itself. No way u can damage the USB controller in the mobo unless got current surge to burn it

Hi all... i wanna ask smth...
Is there anyway to comfirm your PSP except then serial number???
I mean, my PSP got stolen and i don have any other way to comfirm that is my psp... But i saw my PSP box there is some part printed some number... Does the number can help me to get back my PSP from the thief???

yeah...it should actually...

upgraded to 5.00 M33-4 this morning with one setback. savegames done while my psp was 3.80 M33-4 no longer work. Good thing I'm not too bothered with this but I know some won't be quite happy with that.

I especially like the new XMB background design. Feels more.... apple. If you don't like it you can revert back to the old one. It's renamed as 'classic'.
