QUOTE(kalandra @ Nov 25 2008, 11:18 AM) Moment of truth coming soon. I survey some shops, rm900 for psp2000 and rm650 for psp3000. Prices may reverse soon I thought DA has debunked the myth already... it's still not yet fully hackable. so PSP2000 may stay for a while

is it due to the new PSP outputting game video in interlace format, compare to previous progressive signal ? it could be the LCD response time has increased, but the mobo didn't increase the refresh rate of the display signal. I wonder does this symptom appears also when connecting the psp3000 to TV while gaming Added on November 27, 2008, 7:58 amQUOTE(aiman04 @ Nov 27 2008, 07:55 AM) Phew, lucky mine is the good ol slim. Masters, one question. If we upgrade the MSPD, to backup we can just connect via USB to laptop, and copy everything. Disconnect, take out and put new one, format. Then connect back via USB, copy everything back. Or is there a "Backup" option in the settings? Sorry, I'm at the office, don't have the PSP with me. Just thinking of upgrading to bigger MSPD. Thanks in advance for your help guys. there's no backup option in the PSP UI This post has been edited by dattebayo: Nov 27 2008, 07:58 AM

QUOTE(Dark Lord @ Nov 27 2008, 12:35 PM) seeing this problem i am holding myself to buy 3k d... now i got another question before decide to get 2k. compare to last time, psp 2k cost 9++ now, is the goodies given(including free... although i think it is calculated inside 9++ ) more than last time? it's more or less the same, the accessories has become cheaper especially the mem stick, but the package price has increased due to the price increment of the console

QUOTE(azamen87 @ Dec 6 2008, 11:49 PM) oooo, ok, so if want to charge psp wif usb need the psps usb cable that has another split is it? not the regular usb cable? coz mine is the one wif no split..not for psp 1.. wat i meant is, like got ps1 controller for pc using usb (cheap china made one=rm10), my fren told me that using dat will spoil the usb port on laptop, may make the port sot2 (sumtime detect device, sumtime not)...dats y la takut2 act..huhuhu its the same, since the max current a USB port can offer is limited, got split no split also the same as the cheapo ps1 controller, don't worry it's not the USB port sot sot, it's the PS1 controller itself. No way u can damage the USB controller in the mobo unless got current surge to burn it

QUOTE(gwsa @ Dec 8 2008, 12:47 AM) PSP are so bored nowadays...i'm not playing anymore...anyone interested?? selling now...white slim psp...check my siggy... no need to sell even u hardly play it. Think of the newer PSP might never be hackable anymore, think even u manage to sell it, what price can u get, at most is rm700 only, which at most just enough for 1~2 month of expense, but if u keep the PSP, it will keep lying there forever instead of just 1~2 months

[quote=blurjoey,Dec 14 2008, 01:22 PM] You're a pro at swapping memory cards I'm too lazy to swap MSPD, so I got the 8GB M2 and the CR-5400 with 16GB. Added on December 14, 2008, 1:24 pmIt's PhotoFast not PhotoShop! Try searching in Garage Sales and Bulk Order for the PhotoFast CR-5400. There are a few people selling it. Added on December 14, 2008, 1:25 pmI got my Sandisk 8GB M2 with MSPD Adapter for RM150 from the last PC Fair. Will be going later to check out the prices. erm.. can the adaptor fit in the PSP mspd slot ?

QUOTE(kr898 @ Dec 31 2008, 01:55 PM) @david888 it's a rumor.... but the PSP2 or psp 4000 is now in development.... Google for it... there are tones on news about it.... I thought Sony now is in financial unfitting moment... think of the $$ they lost for every PS3 sold, in addition to global recession, furthermore it takes more than a year to complete the R&D work for a new PSP, not easy... I inclined to believe that is a fake news.

QUOTE(Playboy21 @ Jan 9 2009, 11:17 PM) Not, it just means that users can now run certain homebrew on their psp3000 and psp2000 units using the Sparta hack by Freeplay and MaTiAz. With access to a GripShift UMD (USA version), one would be able to code some homebrew for it. You cannot do anything else with it, yet. It's still in the works though. I'll ask MaTiAz for more information on it later. well Sony might be able to fix this backdoor on the next firmware release. Added on January 10, 2009, 10:15 amQUOTE(irkuysm @ Jan 10 2009, 12:01 AM) I really hope that hacking for PSP3000 will be late or slow because right now,so many developer trying to fork out to make much more new games for PSP. hehe... it will be great for those CFW-able PSP owners This post has been edited by dattebayo: Jan 10 2009, 10:15 AM

hey want to know, what is the lowest market price possible for a genuine 4GB/8GB mspd ? I saw a LYN seller selling 8 GB for RM100, but earlier I received a PM from another seller selling legitimate mspd saying that RM100 can only buy 4 GB. the trade enforcer seems didn't take any notice of that thread

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Jan 10 2009, 06:39 PM) Original Sandisk 8GB MSPD is selling about RM200+ in Low Yat Plaza. Sony is more expensive. Saw in SonyStyle selling RM379 for 8GB MarkII MSPD. http://www.sonystyle.com.my/product/produc...roModel=MS-MT8GSandisk 8GB M2 with MSPD adapter is about RM125. I think that 8GB for RM100 is fake MSPD but I thought someone is selling for RM80 for the fake MSPD in garage sales? the Sandisk 8 GB M2, if insert it into MSPD adapter can it work with PSP ?

I heard from one LYN seller said that the casing can actually scratch your console, is it true ?
actually just a game foam pouch, screen protector (invisible shield would be nice) is more than enough to protect the PSP
