LOL! This topic title should be changed into Methodist College KL. tongue.gif

I'm also interested in this college. What about the teachers and is the college recognised? How is it compared to TARC? I'll probably follow my brother's footstep and go to TARC but I don't really want to. In addition, this college is near to my home!

Thank you! notworthy.gif

Would like to know it's accomodation. So how was it?? Had read through from the web, but still unsure whether they do provide fans or air-cond?

Given a choice, would you prefer a principal who wanted face so will make sure his student get good result or another principal who couldn't care less what you do?

From the student point of view, may be the latter.

From the same student who later grown up to be an adult, may be they will prefer the former.

I am from the 0707 batch. There are a number of clubs/societies that have various activities. All are self funded and are typically small. In this case, small is good. It is easy to hold activities.

And we use air cons, not fans. Oh wait, we use both. The quality of lecturers is pretty good I'd say. The dedication is excellent. We even sms and e-mail our lecturers questions during the holidays. The environment is conducive. I think its great if there was a party life in college, but the core of college life, is to study.
Results wise, in terms of percentage, MCKL matches places like Taylors and HELP.

After A- levels, the students end up in various places. My batch is the graduating batch and some of us have conditional offers among them is a guy who's got an offer to LSE to read acturial science, another who's got an offer to Imperial College London, Manchester, Melbourne University and King's College London to read acturial science.
Another girl has offers to various universities to read English Literature, among them is King's College London.
Many students go on to do Medicine, both overseas and locally. Many do medicine locally because of financial restraints as most of us are not under scholarship. JPA and Bank Negara send their students to KTJ and KYUEM.

I personally chose MCKL over those two places. Never regreted it.
I have had a blast in the last year and a half. I am going to miss college.
