If you blow the tyre with hairdryer, not very good move since rubber and heat doesn't mix. Rubber need some moisture to keep lively.
Also if the car sits on 4 tyres suggest you change the tyre position frequently or else all the weight will lie on the same point it might change the tyre shape.
Why not apply some tyre polisher or leather protector instead? And actual car polisher on the metallic paints?

I tried car polisher on diecast toys before. Seems to look great. Just don't apply on non metal parts.
Tyre & leather protector i never use, but i assume if the tyre protector works on real tyres it should work on toy car tyres.

Would like to know where to buy charcoal?
Can those charcoal pills sold in pharmacy be used to reduce odor & humidity since they are small and well shaped.

The bubbles occur in factory or after you display them?

it would be cheaper to buy a dehumidifier machine instead of hippos in the long run...
I'm thinking it might be more of heat issue, since it's easy to understand heat makes things expand and contract, while humid is more on external issues. Bubbles seems to have it's problem rooted from the inside.

Can some guys give a general pro & cons from different manufacturer of different scales maybe starting with:
1.Maisto 2.Auto Art 3.Kyosho 4.Burago 5.Hot Wheels 6.Tomica 7.Nikko etc etc etc?
Coz some are priced higher than others while sometimes they don't look as accurate/nice.
But I know nothing about brand vs product, just know Kyosho are usually more expensive.
And Mirage-RS, becareful when you wipe those dust off coz you might be welcoming scratches if you do it improperly.

Was wondering what's the price difference between Maisto and Auto Art. Coz i always see them together in super markets but i know Auto Art is more expensive.
Other than the accuracy, what about those lights, windshields? I'm quite picky about lights as some give plastic looks. And windshield, it's just about the light scratches.
What about Maisto higher end i think it's rm20-30 more than normal Maisto.
Anyone bought the "My Old Friend" cars. I see Beetle & Ninja Turtle Van. Weathering looks quite nice and the way they wear the car down.

Anyone know whether 4 door Skyline R32,33,34 GT-Rs Street Ver. have been released before? Added on February 14, 2009, 5:42 pmTissue papers can leave lots of fibres on the car and can easily scratch the surface. Better wear those rubber gloves and don't have to worry about fingerprints. QUOTE(Jasonist @ Feb 13 2009, 10:30 AM) as for my case, i didnt use any wax or polish liquid coz i dono which one is good which is harmful... but i juz simply wipe them with soft tissue paper (Kleenex is better)... n i never leave my fingerprint on the car... i usually use tissue paper to carry the cars around... n use a moped to clean off the dust...
