REALCollector: wow Petronas Tom's... tats a very great haul REAL! thumbup.gif from ebbro??? i saw this one during last year's Super GT eh... however they didnt let us see their show girls during the photoshooting session... sweat.gif btw do u unscrew ur diecast models for display or keep them to sit on the base?

ericmaxman: never know a white produced by Maisto... n 1/24??? blink.gif looks nice in white, especially the contrast with the carbon fibre sideblade... biggrin.gif thanks for sharing!

Akid: No, no, no... I'm not rich.... sweat.gif I have planned budget for my collection.... pick up models that I want only... make every penny count!!! Any new haul from you tai ko ???

Jason: Yeap! it's an ebbro 1:43.... just released towards the end of December 2008. In fact I should have purchased one SC430 earlier... cause I was in dilemma to choose between the Zent Cerumo SC430 and Petronas Tom's SC430.... I'm a great fan of Yuji Tachikawa and I already have these cars in my cabinet hmm.gif ...

kidda redundant if I get another Zent Cerumo... after 3 weeks of serious thinking, I've decided to get the Petronas Tom's (won the 2008 GT500 Team title) to compliment my 2008 Xanavi Nismo GT-R (won the 2008 GT500 Driver title) icon_rolleyes.gif ....
and all my models are kept in the original box... need to carry out periodic check to ensure the rubber in good condition doh.gif .

Update from Maisto Nissan GTR 35! smile.gif

1:24 Nissan GT-R pre-production samples

We’ve had some trouble getting the bulges on the hood to look correct but now we’re sure that we’ve got it!
Here are the pre-production samples for the Need For Speed: Undercover (blue/white police car)
and the Special Edition (pearl white and red) that we’ve just received from our tooling department.
We’ll send them to Nissan for review. Upon their approval we’ll begin production.

REALCollector: February haul!! thumbup.gif it's good to see malaysian sponsors in international motorsport... btw, how do u maintain all ur gems? do clean it with soft wet cloth otherwise it'll turn yellow in years just like my Merc C180 DTM doh.gif

it's good to be back & i've something to cheer this thread up abit... it's not any new model but i've done something to it because its sad when u notice 1 of ur model is getting old.

REALCollector: nice! biggrin.gif u should now have all the Super GT500 marvels eh... Supra, 350z, SC430, GTR, NSX! drool.gif oh ya, u do need to let them breathe from time to time... and since they are 1/43 scale, i think its easier to look after eh... oso, if possible, put in some hippo to suck the humidity le... nod.gif

JtuneD: interesting stuff... guess theres another alternative for GTR lovers for affordable priced models... rclxms.gif thanks for info!

myke: wow... u paint the wheels??? shocking.gif did u paint the interior oso??? blink.gif looks new eh... btw does the F50 has nuts on the wheels? pretty smooth job there! thumbup.gif looking for more shots from u... biggrin.gif

oh ya guys, suddenly this idea came out from my mind... i was thinking we could have alternative to protect the tyres from display in the cabinet... if u think to jack up the models will spoil the display view, u can try to put in some anti-slip rubber mat on the cabinet surface, which u can buy from car accessories shop... so u don have to jack up the cars anymore, juz directly place the car on the rubber mat... i think the soft rubber mat can reduce the weight force of the tyres though... blush.gif

Myke: Great work! Your new look F50 looks sportier than before. You and Jason are good in photo shooting & editing... rclxms.gif
Just one question, I wonder if Ferrari F50 GT even exist in 1:18 scaled? It would be nice if you can have one in your cabinet thumbup.gif .
Regarding the maintenance pure white models... it's kidda difficult to keep the paint in tip top condition after sometime... no matter how you
clean them... the paint will turn into yellowish... I'm still ok with that, as long as the sponsors logo are recognizable.

Jason: Can you post the hippo product that you used to such the heat... I've no idea how it looks like... thank you.
