The R35 is AA, i wanted the premium spec look with gun metal rims that wasn't released by AA (...yet) , so i ask a buddy of mine to have the rims air brushed to the exact gun metal like the real car. Turns out better than expected , so i am quite happy with the results. biggrin.gif

quiksilve:  drool.gif  drool.gif ur AA GT-R comes with gun metal rims!? i'm kept waiting & waiting..i felt like getting AA instead Kyosho since they will never come in RHD  sad.gif
& you're fast too... nice AA reventon! keep spam more pictures.. no megapixel oso very clear & heavy to load  tongue.gif
*
Thanks bro same here, I like the kyosho version of the 35 too but certain lines and angle of the car is off compared to AA, but i remember seeing RHD version from Kyosho but thats even more rare or was i mistaken?

I think heavy to load cause today photobucket like very slow even when logging in hehe.l smile.gif

QUOTE(myke @ Jun 18 2009, 04:23 PM)
air brushed technic.. very damn nice!  thumbup.gif a more complete GT-R
*
Yeah bro according to my buddy, he said needed to mask the rim according to the angles and do controlled air brushing since the rims cannot be removed so easily like the tires.

Now still thinking whether wanna improve on the Reventon rims or not, since AA didnt really perfect the colour of the grey fins. in real car pictures looks more darker to me.

u guys are crazy... i hate u guyz...  cry.gif

new hauls keep coming... but me broke like shiet here... no new hauls for me...
feel like i dun deserve to be here... cry.gif

Don't worry bro, start slowly and focus on the cars you really light. Then i'm sure your collection will slowly start accumulating before you realize it. rclxms.gif

Here is my collection of Imprezza Rally cars, really love the teardrop and hawk-eye version the most, so i get weak knees when everytime i see it.
And i am a Peter Solberg fan so any rally cars with his name, just have to have, still missing the bugeye, 06 and PS2 version though.
Really hope AA does the version 10 in 1:18 version then that will be my last imprezza.

jchue73: yeah bro, i guess those who love subaru from the 2001-2009 era, must either love the car or the driver or even both all together, be it good or bad seasons for the team. I see you been busy hauling too eh. hehe

subaru22b: I didnt get the night race 06 version, still thinking which one to get, with lights or without. since both also looks very very good.

leroy87: actually quite scary come to think of it, i like to collect what i like, but i gotta thank a good friend of mine who poison me kao kao into this die-cast collecting hobby. And he also made me realize that all this while i am actually quite passionate with cars. Who isnt right? every guy love their cars.

Jasonist: thanks bro for the compliment, of course my collection is nothing compared with all the long time die-cast collecting sifu here. Will slowly learn from you all.

jchue73:
Thanks bro, that FXX i got is 1:18 scale. I got it for RM370. a bit pricey but still worth it since its quite rare to find in our local stores.

myke:
Thanks bro, yeah actually can't really find in departmental store nowadays thats why i ask Baronzemo to help me look for it when he was on holiday overseas.
I might be getting a FXX Evoluzione version if can ask him to find overseas cause that looks good too. You wanna join?

One thing i really like about the elite enzo's are the weight of it, surprisingly as heavy as some of the autoart 1:18 lamborghinis.
and also the details on the engine bay.

the 599xx is definitely on every diecast collectors wet dream if it does come out in 1:18 scale.

If only hotwheels didnt pull the plug on kyosho then we would have a glimpsed of chance for a perfect 599xx sad.gif

I'm sure completist collectors will want a Enzo FXX, Enzo FXX evoluzione, and the final creme de la creme 599xx elite version to complete the XX circle. whoah. sweet. rclxms.gif

Jasonist: nice shelby...from which brand? you're in shopping spree  brows.gif

quiksilve: wow! i have to wear sunglasses  biggrin.gif nice chrome Mugen NSX! another rare collection  thumbup.gif btw how do you take care of your models esspecially the paint? any paint deterioration?
*
Thanks bro, what i do to take care of my models especially the paint is use the new turtle wax ice solution, and a lint free cloth.
I use the turtle wax ice since its the safest of all car cleaners, because you can actually wipe from car paint surface directly to any plastic surface like the wipers, windscreen, tires, because the solution work on all surface.

If there are built up dirt on the paint that is tough to remove then i will just dab a bit of meguaire's wax cleaner and then wipe off to restore the original paint and sealed in the shine.
For the cleaner wax gotta be a bit more careful as it only works on paint surface, and will cause black plastic to turn white if not careful when cleaning the cars.

What about you bro? how do you take care of your cars?
