Myke, The Facelift E60 indeed looks better and would have to say that is way better than Maisto's when comparing as I've got the Facelift one, details such as the angel eyes, Interior etc.. But the engine compartment has some details omitted such as wiper washer fluid filler compartment, a red cover somewhere in the engine bay for the positive terminal to jump start the car. While the rear lights have the 5 LED Conductor Rods missing.

Jasonist, Yes indeed both are very different models when you put them side by side. Have to say that the Maisto lacks a hell lot of details. Kidney grilles are chrome framed with black slats (non see through) which are poorly painted on the Maisto where else the whole kidney grille on the Kyosho's is chrome. The engine cover on the Maisto has wrong lettering on them supposed to be ///M V10 instead of ///M 5 which is so wrong. They even ommited the signature angel eyes/corona rings. Only thing I like about Maisto is that it has a sunroof.

Jason, you can always head to the BMW dealerships in Aussie and they can preorder the Alpine White for you. I am looking for the Melbourne Red M3 exactly like yours but failed to do so in malangsial.. hehehehe

It's been a few weeks since I posted here.. Hehe.. Nothing new to post but hopefully my second attempt in getting my model from Hong Kong will be successful this time. First attempt was unsuccessful as my friend didn't manage to get to the store. 2nd attempt will be from some visitors coming from Hong Kong. Hopefully it will work out this time.. hehehe.. Expecting it so badly!!!!!!!!

Hi Aurion, may i know which part of Hong Kong is the best place to hunt of die-cast???
*
There are 2 places as far as I know but haven't been there personally. There is one shop in Wan Chai and another on Waterloo Road, Mong Kok.

As for all other forummers, I'll be posting some other shots these few days of a some newly bought car and one car which has been given as a gift by a friend of mine smile.gif Be on the lookout and enjoy the rest of your day!

Dear fellow forummers, here are some pictures of an AutoArt Lamborghini Reventon Production Number 00/20 (Visible only when the whole car is taken apart, which I did to do some interior detailing) Sad to say for an AutoArt, the front hood of the car and one of the flaps were unable to stay up. But this issue has been fixed by myself. Besides that, several details are missing or done wrongly mainly in the interior of the car. Among the errors which I found after comparing to 1:1 interior is the missing of power window switches on the doors, buttons on e-Gear not detailed, Buttons on central console not correct (Side Mirror Ajustors not done, TCS button missing, and a skidding car button is also missing from there). Do enjoy the pictures posted.

aurion great car biggrin.gif how much is ur reventon ?? is it limited ?? y its 0/20 ?
*
Hello, Jackygwh. The Reventon is about RM450 after conversion. It's not a limited model. Why is it 0/20. It's because for the 1:1 cars, There are actually 21 units of this car worldwide. Lamborghini is keeping one of them in their museum which is this unit 0/20. Cars 1 to 20 are delivered to customers.

*
Haha, myke. Should I take it as a compliment? tongue.gif. I didn't do anything to the rims. They are still the standard rims with the standard CF blades. Just came back with some photos of some outdoor night shots of the fella and a few other cars. These are some outdoor pictures of Ramone the Lamborghini Reventon, for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy. Outdoor shots of Aaron the Audi R8, Carlos the BMW M6 and William the BMW M5 will be posted soon!

*
Thanks, Jaonist. You can try ordering online, though I got someone to hand-carry mine all the way from Hong Kong. You should add this to your collexione. No doubt that it is alot better than the Bburago, there again, this AutoArt fella also has it's defects here. Ramone here had a problem of his front hood and side flaps staying up but was easily fixed by taking him apart.. Will try to do something to my Bburago one as well.. this calls for one thing... MOD TIME!!!! tongue.gif

*
jchue73, yup it sure was and I was not worried of any damages at all as it was hand carried. Aiya.. these cars portray speed, muscle and handsome that's why. Girls cars should be given to cars which look cute such as the VW Beetle, Smart ForTwo.. etc.. Hahaha.. That's just me I guess.

Thank you once again for the compliments, myke. The background is a clubhouse of a reknowned resort in Kota Kinabalu. In front of the clubhouse is a marina, where members can park their boats, yatchs etc. Will take some marina shots during the day with some of my other cars.

Aurion: Your collection also growing fast... nice R8 and Lambos... hey, try to custom build a custom Lambo service center or showroom... I saw one collector out there... probably a Filipino, who spent 2 mths to complete his Lambo Service center... very impressive... try to find some photos over the weekend.

Hey RC, I should say that these models are irresistable. You look at them, you get the urge to buy. I would try to make a diorama of what you suggested provided I can clear some space in my room. Whereabouts are you now? Out of Malaysia for quite a while eh.. Meaning that you have a chance to buy more cars back biggrin.gif .

aurion: once again nice outdoor shots on the R8... i suppose KK sure has lots of great places for outdoor shots... the sea side view itself is considered stunning oredi... talking bout R8, theres a Suzuka Grey coming its way... saw it in Jacky's Motorsport website... super poison!!! drool.gif suzuka grey is the special color offered by Audi... it looks like pearl white effect but this one looks perfect with darker wheels...

Don't think I'll be getting this one as there is no difference between the regular R8 and this Whitish Grey one with the exception of the Titanium/Gunmetal Coloured rims. smile.gif
