QUOTE(Jasonist @ Nov 16 2008, 01:12 AM) Autoart does produce the AE86 Initial D version, but restrict the availability in Japan only... the model does not come with carbon fiber bonnet... http://dunstopshopping.blogspot.com/2008/0...dy1-status.htmlone of our forumers has the link to Play-Asia where u may be interested to get it through online purchase... http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-8x-77-...en-70-2w6q.htmlhowever after calculation of shipment expenses all those, the price is much expensive than the Bugatti Veyron model... Hey J, Thanks for the link. Yeah I do know that Autoart is releasing it, but I'm more interested in the current version of the 86, specially with the carbon fiber bonnet and bucket seats...i do hope that they do make one...the HW version is nice, but u can open the doors, so it's a bit of a draw back... So fingers crossed. Cheers

QUOTE(Blaze Dragon_89 @ Nov 16 2008, 03:02 PM) Mondo Motors produces a Reventon which is better than Burago, as the lights are more detailed and has brake calipers unlike BBurago. You can check it out from ebay. Just type: "Mondo Motors Reventon 1/18" MR Models is another manufacturer which produces the best Reventon, it sells for an average 599US$ on ebay (Expensive because its limited and handmade). Check this out as well: http://www.lamborghini-talk.com/vbforum/f4...d-edition-8757/That site even shows a comparison between the Mondo Motors Reventon and the MR Models Reventon thx for the reply... wow.. it's really so detail... but the price is killing me... im looking for price max to autoart standard oni... usd599 cost my life edi... haha...

Yea, its crazy for the MR Models one, but it can be gotten cheaper by bidding, which is around 3xxUS$. still not cheap..... But I think the Mondo Motors version is good enough, and it cost quite cheap. Or if Jasonist is right about Mattel Elite would soon the 1/18 version, then it would be great. I would like to buy the Mondo Motors Reventon, but the postage is even more expensive or just cost as much as the model itself....

Oh my god! RM400 for AA 1/18 scaled... man! diecast collection is getting beyond reach.... as for the AA Reventon? I didn't saw any news AA will releasing it soon but good news for superleggera, it's confirmed AA will produce it soon.... Ok! I've one 1/24 BBurago Reventon.... I would call it a value model.... you get what you pay for (RM60) if compare to the HW 1/43 elite that cost about RM150 a piece... smaller scale but finely craft...... It's kidda sad, Kyosho drop the Ferrari models in their future release (source from diecastxchane).... In fact I have tried to consider collecting Mondo 1/43 last time... if not mistaken below 10 pound (plus shipping)... but... drop it.... after seen this http://www.idcow.com/43mon2000.html... - look for mondo reventon. but the jada LP640 isn't bad... "2008 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 diecast model car 1:24 scale die cast by Jada Toys - Flat Black 92081" Anyway will bring in more great stuff within these two months... But they have the 1/24 RC version of the Reventon. Im not sure even if Mondo Motors brand is sold locally.

actually.... Maisto historyMaisto is a company that manufactures die-cast models of automobiles, aircraft, and a number of Tonka products. The company is based in California and their products are made in China and Thailand. Maisto creates 1:12, 1:18, 1:24, 1:25, 1:27, 1:43, and 1:64 scale models. The models are based on vehicles that are popular today. In 2005, Maisto acquired the assets of Bburago, another scale model manufacturer who went bankrupt. http://www.fabtintoys.com/Maisto/IT/thats why they put them together... like esso and mobil la...they are exxonmobil... to me their reventon is ok what.... MR models is beyond reach la....unless a rich enthusiast who's willing to spend....plus the melting prob of the tires.... aihh.... This post has been edited by mirage-rs: Nov 17 2008, 07:08 PM

Blaze Dragon_89: unfortunately there is no retailers of Mondo Motors here in Malaysia... i never heard of this brand before after the reventon model is introduced... they do have some interesting models such as the Maserati Gran Turismo coupe... too bad seems impossible to get in Malaysia, unless go for online purchase... tkt: do u encounter this problem on Hot Works models ma??? mirage-rs: yea, since they now share the same quality of diecast, but try compare the quality of Murcielago of Maisto and Bburago, and Dodge Viper SRT-10 between the two makers... Maisto gains better quality than Bburago... on the other hand, the Range Rover Sports diecast have the same quality among the two makers, juz only colors are different...

Yea, I kinda thought like that. The Mondo Motors company should sell their models in Malaysia widely, like Maisto and BBurago. If they do, Im sure that a lot of people will buy its models even though it doesn't have a wide range of models yet... The prices for the models are also reasonable. The Problem to order online is always the postage price...
