U means the 1:18  Bburago ? If not mistaken is that price la... coz i saw at pavilion. For 170 i think is ok for the quality.. hehe... but then if can affort kyosho lagi good. RM400. haha... Lagi good quality.

I bought the pearl white one at Sogo for RM 152.91, with 10% discount. Parkson has 20% but chances of getting the GT-R may be slimmer I won't know when. But yeah.. felt the pinch of the price increase, when comparing to a Supperleggra

- Front wheel sags like it's set to negative camber.
- no suspension springs
- rear lights look pink and has a horizontal like running across it. (plan to fix this with a mod)
- bad wheel turning radius.
- No brake calipers ( could this be Nissan's permission issue??, but plan to fix this as well)

+ Paint job
+ Interior details. there's seatbelts in the rear, cabin roof has texture which is better than just bare metal, nice seat plastic which almost looks like soft leather.
+ very nice wheel turning motion and nice bonnet/boot/door opening feel.
+ Sculpt is pretty much spot on and accurate.
+ excellent front lights.

Jason: Nice tour! your M3 have taken us to many great landmarks in Melbourne in the passed few days... thank mate...!!! keep posting photos if have spare time... laugh.gif

jchue73: Aiyo! man... you really have turned yourself into model car freak! I know exactly how tempting this hobby is... sometime it takes me weeks to make up my mind just to buy one costly 1/43 model... I call it misery! you start thinking of it when you wake up... doh.gif ... like you meet your soul mate...

Anyway, that BBR 599XX is very tempting indeed... I'm waiting for RedLine version... (that could probably my last model for 2009 (excluding those pre-booked BMW race cars frm UK sweat.gif ))... In my opinion Ferrari models are worth collecting.. these are rare items...

Ok! I'm still waiting for two packages frm Overseas... probably arrive in two weeks frm now... then I guarantee to flood this thread again in August... do visit this thread regularly for latest updates, fellow collectors...

Meanwhile let me share with you guys some of my early 1:64 collections:

Jasonist: Wahlau... You very hebat ! Just the tip of the box and you already know what it is ! notworthy.gif Will try and post some pics of the red Carrera GT. Trying to get the DE in silver colour but cannot find anywhere. Tried also to find a white but it's only made by Autoart which is slightly inferior to Minichamps for this model. All I can say that the weight of the car is worth the money. One of the heaviest models I have. Very solid metal all around. Just like the Minichamps BMW M3 E46 that I have.

REALCollector: I think we have to enrol in Diecast Anonymous already. cry.gif Eh, what you said about 2009 Super GT cars earlier on is correct. EBBRO is slowly trickling in their 2009 lineup. brows.gif

subaru22b: Congrats. The packaging looks very good and professional. If I think is what it is, it's a nice catch. Which one? 1 set, 2 set and the 3 set one? biggrin.gif

hokuan: Congrats on the white beamer. Kyosho?

leroy87: No idea on local pricing of Elites. From what I can see, if it's anything like prices down south, the Elites will cost something like Autoart's which is like RM 400 range. The Super Elites? rclxub.gif Wah, got a shock that they cost around early RM 1000++. Might as well get BBR / CMC if that's the case.
