saw a BR01 Phantom today.. while i can't agree to the asking price, i have to admit these guys who came up with such a simple and distinct design the thumbs up.

i believe everyone would agree when i say you get more watch with the Omega Seamaster (decorated movement, similar quality if not better, and way better brand recognition to the general population) for your money than the BR01..but we would all agree the BR01 is unique..

bah, basically, i want one.

ck77: hahaha. so fast poison ah..i will get one for sure when i get enough bullets.. i checked out the BR01 homages, and nothing comes close to the real thing!

guess no choice lah. if the homages were convincing enough i could have convinced myself to settle for less. kakakakaka..

having the BR01 will make a bigger (physical) statement than any PP, VC, IWC etc. kakakaka. eh why your patek so small one, pay so much for so little watch meh tongue.gif

friedricetheman: don't have to be defensive about it. just take it with a sense of humor and lighten up. i feel ck77 was just correlating the scenario. ck77 has been very friendly and he is a fellow enthusiast.

brother nomar... can share with us why you went with the black dial mad cow instead of the white dial one? just curious about your personal selection process.

i feel white dial mad cow also very nice with the blue hands.. very classy, but the black dial also nice.. more macho

1 Utama AD got stock for white dial mad cow tongue.gif the blue hands on white dial is really a class act.. they pulled it off very well!

yes indeed, the Mad Cow is lighter than Spacemaster due to Ti construction.. I feel Mad Cow is just nice (the weight).. perfectly balanced..not too light till you don't feel the "ummph" but not too heavy to drag you down.

I tried the Oris TT3 Ti.. wearing it really.. I tarak rasa.. ***personal preference, owners please don't shoot me, its a nice watch***

I am planning to buy my 1st Swiss made watch. I am considering these two:
1. Tag Heuer Aquaracer calibre 5
2. Omega Planet Ocean

I would like to ask sifus that what is ur opinion for these 2 watches. Any more recommendation??

And what is the expected price for brand new for those 2 watches?? So that I can have a reference price when I go and buy

Thanks

ouch, sakit. tag watches are well built. but yes i do agree that their commanding price relative to the value is rather high. you get more value for money with an Oris, Ball or a CW
