Ok, just sent my watch back to Omega....the watchmaker says my case(date wont change according to 24hr cycles) shouldn't happen,might due to some mechanism stuck in between or wat. Sigh.....sad,just bought a new watch and it gives me this problem adi,i'm afraid dat the mechanism is broken or wat....so i sent bek for warranty, just to ask u guys' experience whether izit possible to ask for 1 to 1 exchange cuz it's still new (1 month old) and i seldom wear it?

prices of new watches always go up... basic Econ rules.. Inflation.
watches that are equiped with ETA based movement usually cannot hold their value.
oris watches usually regulated at 3 positions, Rolex 5.
oris today is going with Sellita movement to keep cost low, so don't expect high or good resale value.

i'm a monaco user... yeap... the quality sucks bigtime...  since it's a classic, some parts of it a bit fragile... will come off at times... already sent for service a few times and what the shop says is dun play with the chronograph too much...

well... my monaco is the normal choronograph given by my dad.... manufacturing date unknown but serial no: HN10XX... but after all, it is crap in quality... 3 times fixing it  but i just keep on wearing it and try not to be too rough at times...

do mean my rolex??

btw what about the speedmaster date? haha... have to say the speedy pro has great history but the thing is that it doesnt have a date... thats something i cant live with..

btw how much is the rolex submariner no date? i still think a rolex is too much for me.. very tempted to get the daytona though.. but its over my budget.. haha.. mayb when i start working i'l get the daytona

i've been learning a lot through this thread. i wouldn't call myself a watch lover, but i do like watches.

my trusty casio gshock and casio work very well and i wear them most frequently (seiko is from 2002!).
