you NEED to repair and DIY after you buy the car....and you're paying over 80K to do that. 

You say you're poor? but you're going to fork a lot on road tax.

It's like this. The average income earner earns about 2-4K in a month. That's the most common majority bracket in Malaysia. I've seen some ppl earning only4K plus but go buy Toyota Wish and live in double story house. 

So what happens is that they lived every month paying off everything (credit card, other loans, etc) and have nothing or little for saving, some even skip 1-2 months without paying some of the loans and pay on the following month.

I don't know how they live, maybe just eat rice with curry sauce. Maybe they think wow I'm driving a 2.4L car, I'm a big somebody. Really pathetic, these breed of people. I can safely say majority of young Malaysians are stupid. They kill themselves with burdening themselves with huge debt, financial burdens. Wait till they fall or lose their Job, let see how fast they die.  Some go crazy, with nothing else in their life, visit uncle LIM then it get worse from there.

I've been through 3 cycle of recession so I know what I'm crapping about. I've gone through shit in life. Those who flame me, calling me poyo, please qualify yourself first. Right now I'm standing on my own 2 feet, I don't need to depend on anybody, I've paid off all my debts and loan. I've my own business, My cars are all paid for, right now my
only last commitment is my 1 last property, after that I'm free.

So good luck to all you cherry owners. Maybe you think I'm trying to insult you guys but you don't realize I'm just trying to knock some reality into you. You know why? People who are rich won't consider CE. So my guess is right, most of you will be a long term debt after this and to make it worse you own a faulty car.

I've tested one in PJ showroom. Surprisingly, no surprise for me as expected, her 2.4L engine really powerfull. I repeat really powerful even on the 2nd gear but still got pick up. Sorry to say to Exora & Innova (I've tested both as well) and.... Exora, really under power. Fisrt gear no pick up, 2nd gear almost crawling... Innova first gear "dissapointed", 2nd gear extra disapointment for me... True, I'm very dissapointed with Innova caused it is target MPV actually. But to compare Chery & Exora, Chery is much much better. The only thing is that, the interior... plastic lah of course.. but remember, what is Exora interior made from? I also dunno but I almost having soar eye looking at Exora interior. "Not even not interested, it seems like very low quality some more"...

Banyak susah lah itu macam... so from my very initial step of comparing these 3 models and of course budget is my no 1 limitation, frankly speaking.. whoops.. frankly typing... Chery Eastar is the best... I really hope to have one soon...

And just to let you all know. Your CE can go up to 170km/h on PLUS highway. It tooks me 2 and half hour from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru. And it was a unforgettable fun ride! hehehe.. (Winding road pls slow down cos the car will goyang a bit due to the comfortable suspension setting. )

And dun be stingy on ur foot during fast cornering (give more gas).. U wont believe how good is the handling of your CE.. (Chery hired the Lotus team during the platform development and too bad dunno why they can't put the "tuned by Lotus" logo.. sigh...) And I remember when I took the car to JPJ for Vehicle Type Approval (before the car is in JPJ system nationwide) and test drive with the engineer.. He was treshing the car madly and keep telling me the handling is good for a MPV as this price! LOL.. 

Yeap, be proud of ur CE.. Eastarian!

just a quick question and my 2 cents comment

i personally find it a little bit hard to understand what you guys are chatting about in the CCC forum because of the bahasa tempatan all you guys are using .. maybe it would be more beneficial if everyone could share in either english or normal bahasa malaysia and not bahasa setempat la.

by the way, just my opinion .. CMC sounds and looks nicer isnt it? why change?

hi guys,jus did my 5k svc at superhub puchong,very fast cause i am the only customer this morning,one thing that i want to share wt all of u that during my conversation wt the foreman,what he told me that our car got no alarm systems,they already tested wt CE n tiggo,any comments guys??as far as i know i never heard the alarm system b4 at my car.

Last time I'd talked to Lim and he told me that he can do the sound proofing for the whole car like the one posted in Chery site in China, cost less than 2k.
Also, I'm interested in the DVD player plus rooftop LCD including reverse camera, any one interested?, then we can negotiate with Lim for best package.
FYI, last time he quoted me around 1.9k (DVD player, Rooftop LCD, Reverse Camera, Door visors and rear light masking)
