Easterian- The current int% should be at the range of 2.4-2.9%, actual interest will only be known when you are being interview by the banks.

As for the SC, I will see what I could do on my level & will do my best for the convinient of everyone.

Sye rasa dah berbuih kita complain mengenai benda nie, nampak gaya tak jalan gak. Maybe kita semua kena buat surat rasmi kepada pihak management Chery mengenai masalah ini secepat mungkin. Kalau kita asyik dok complain kat sini tak guna gak, melainkan ada wakil dari pihak Chery yang terlibat dalam forum ini. Saya rasa benda nie kita boleh bincang dengan seriusnya dalam perjumpaan kita di Putrajaya, sabtu ini. Harap semua eastarian dapat menghadirkan diri. Pandangan dari semua amat2 dialu-alukan...

maybe you should let the top management aware on our DISSATISFACTION!!! on the SC like to the CTO, Ms. Janice.
many potential buyer will definitely check the comments from the owner thru this forum and if there are complains and defects not attended, I'm sure this will turn your potential buyers away.

example:
those holes at the bottom of the car are not sealed, how can this be happen? shouldn't it be sealed during the assembly stage !!! and now we're waiting for the proper rubber cap that is yet to be arrived.

To kenycw55, thank you for your reply. I do hope that the SC's all over Malaysia will try their best to improve their after sales service. Don't get me wrong. I still believe that the chery eastar is a value for money mpv. With improvement in the after sales service, I am sure a lot of potential buyers will not mind the small shortcomings in the car. I tak le expect macam Honda punya advisors, buka pintu untuk saya..hee...hee..hee, but improvements in genuinely trying to deal with after sales complaints is more than enough. Like I said, I am a proud eastar owner, and I do hope that the SC will take note of constructive criticisms.

I went for service last week at SC PJ and asked the officer in charge about the availability of the rubber cap to cover the holes at the bottom of eastar. He informed that SC PJ has not ordered any rubber cap as mentioned earlier in the forum. According to him, before they can order any part, there must be a authorised memo from the management. Until now, there was no such memo received therefore no order was made for the rubber cap.

Conclusion.. kita semuo sudah kena kelentonglah..

can someone tell me where are those holes? will list it and pass it to the salesman. make sure they cover it before car deliver to me.

Yesterday my car had a new problem. The airbag signal both for the driver and passenger keep on flashing. Today after get the car diagnosed at the sc at kuantan, they said it was because of the ecu. according to them my car is the 3rd car facing the same problem that they attended. Now I've to wait for the spare part.

Sila rujuk ke mukasurat 41 di bawah post saya. Semoga eastar anda telah di tutupnya lubang-lubang tersebut dari kilang pemasangan lagi. Kalau tidak, sertailah kami yang sedang menunggu penyumbat lubang dari SC.....

Anda boleh terima kereta anda dulu tetapi buatlah catatan di "vehicle delivery order" anda dan minta SA anda mengesahkan kekurangan benda itu.

Go straight to Chery Global for help. I've done that, hopefully something will change. I've filed complaint officially and someone is instructed to look into my problem from China. Try this email "helpdesk@mychery.com".

go and watch too fast and furious 4 ......20% Angel 80% Devil type ......u know what I mean ....

Fellas.....please stay calm ......we are thinking of something here ......for me we still can tolerate on the 'uncovered ' holes down there ....seems like it can be covered though.....by our DIY session that cost not so much indeed.

However ....on more serious problem ....like 'turn to left' syndrome , ECU etc ....we have to find the root cause and not simply throw the 'mess' to our SC .

Now we should sit down ......find ways to eliminate all this problems in a win win situation .....

Not all Eastars have problems and what not ......we have yet to see the correct statistics on this ...I believe Alado's rep are monitoring this thread .....they must overcome this.....before its too late ......

Please respect people's trust and so on ......

The Impact whether Chery Alado like it or not will goes to their sales ....I hope Mr Ken ....will consider our thoughts and we can settle this 'uncomfortableness ' among customers ASAP.

Let me tell my experience with my previous car; it was P.P. 2.0i. I thought I can get original part from P.SC.. During my 100,000km, I changed my water pump and those parts according to schedule. The service cost me RM2600+. After using for more than 6 months, water pump leaking. So, I went to P.SC., they said it is over due 6 months warranty period and no claim allowed. When I went to foreman outside to replace it, it was found that water pump was recon and I was charged according to original price RM850+. Problem like this, I have no way to complaint. This is a very serious problem I experienced........
People not happy with Chery SC because they cannot deliver good & quality service. Trust me, all this is temperary for new company like Chery. In Japanese company, it is called "learning curve". Every new company, new setup or new products need to have "learning curve". Chery SC is no exception; new car, new spare parts, new system, new operation, new people and everything new. I know they need " learning curve".
Let me suggest this: when we need to settle some problems for our Eastar, just list down those items and discuss with the service manager you need to rectify all this problems. Make an appointment with them with both sides understanding the problems and time need to carry out such tasks. This way will make ourselves easy, good for our car and build good repot with our SC. At the same time, happy for both sides.

let me tell you all my experience.. this few days, i serviced my 2 Eastar, surprisingly 90% of my defects resolved.... even the small thing like the easy pooping up console also resolved... currently i m OK with their service for the moment.. now those few advisers at Chery service PJ all like my friend, we can joke around and they are very friendly. Like Smliu said, give them sometime, we all will be a more happy Eastrian la....
keep promoting this car. OK..................

from the information I have, Chery SC had been in-operation for the past 5 years although on the different operating location, started with Chery A160 and QQ, so not so a brand new SC I would say, they should have all the experience they needed, think they need a better and more effective management to manage it....international company with "kampung" mentality...no??
and I do agree to give them more time to rectify their weakness, after all we're just human. importantly is to reflect and acknowledge the weakness and perform continous improvement not just saying but without any action....

Saya bakal pembeli Chery nih dan tak sabar rasanya nak guna keter nih walaupun dah banyak pendapat positif & negatif yang saya dah dengar. Menariknya, saya dapat offer kerje kat Langkawi next month (Mei 2009) dan harga kerete nih kat langkawi (dah but survey) is around RM55k. Tapi masalahnye seperti yang saleman kat sana cakap dia datang memang takder package bodykit. Soalan saya berapakah harga bodykit Chery nih kalau kat luar (bukan kat Chery)?

Kalau nak bodykit nak kena customade la. Kalau kat puchong, selangor dalam RM1500++ jea... Kitorang pun tengah menunggu kemasukan bodykit tersebut...
