ANY IDEAS to help and promote this car drastically ?.... seem that the HQ don't have any fantastic idea to promote this MPV, a lot of people still don't know, and still have negative perception about China products, Especially Chinese.. sorry to said that... the SC also not par to other brands...like T or H (Japanese brand).. long waiting hours, defects cannot solve etc etc ..........all the negative perception....

We as all CMC members must do something to help and assist them to promote the car and wake up the HQ, ultimately this will help us when come to resell value.. if this car is not getting popular in 2 to 3 years, we all gonna have problem to sell our car.. correct me if i m wrong, higher resell value is parallel with popularity of the brand and the car.

what shall we do? really must do something....

Tapi aku punyer kete ni stereng gegar la kalu dah speed 100 ke atas tapi kalu dah laju sangat 150 tu gegar dah kureng skit ... korang punyer samer gak ke.

Baru balik 5000km service last saturday. sad to say, after sales service to me very disappointing. tak sure if it is because I tak kenal manager or otherwise, tapi excuse yang diberi very disappointing. Every time I complain about certain things, ie replacement of certain parts which should be under warranty, the answer is the same- awaiting parts to arrive. requested to check the alignment of the car,and the attending mechanic, in his own words" abang baik buat kat luar. kita tak buat". when asked to attend to certain complaints, kata no time as short of mechanics. asked me to come again during weekdays. when I told him that I came on a weekday for my 1000km service and the excuse was the same, he started raising his voice to me. sayang seribu kali sayang. keretanya cantik dan bagus, tapi tak setimpal dengan after sales service. I am sorry to have to say this, but the after sales service is , to me, almost non existent. Dan saya dah convey this to potential buyers yang terpikat dengan my car. SC PJ must be careful about handling complaints about the car. I tak menyesal langsung beli chery eastar, tapi terus terang, I menyesal akan afetr sales servicenya
Just an honest opinion from a proud eastar owner.

From what you described, the aircon comp noise is very laud and it should not be. You should send the car for inspection if the aircon comp noise is very laud. The engine 4G64 is comparatively laud and we have to accept it. Busyra, H.Stream and T.Wish are very famous MPVs and it take 2 Eastars to buy either one of them(new). How to compare?
In my opinion, the foam fixed underneath the bonet can reduce the noise to certain level and it will help. Berapakah foam tu?

I pun tak pasti ia normal atau tak sebab masa i complaint kat SA dulu diorang tak kata apa pun...??? Dah la kat sini tak ada kengkawan yg pakai eastar nak buat perbandingan. Kalau off aircond bunyinya tak lah menyakitkan hati, cuma bila on aircond je...

Kedai yg offer i pasang foam tu bagi harga RM180 untuk full bonet area. Tak tanya la pulak kedai lain.

I may disappoint u this time. I don't fancy on tyre rim for some reasons. Except for the outlook, there are some disadvantages using over size rim(not original spec). We need to have very acurate conversion so that the car can run normally. Or else, it will cause faulty readings and may cause damages and even cause danger if the conversion is not correctly done. http://www.performancetyresdirect.co.uk/co.../converter.html
Say, if u change to 18in rim, the option sizes are 225/40/18(636mm) or 245/35/18(629mm) or 255/35/18(636mm)which are still have some deviation on spec(the correct spec is 633mm). Check and see the price of these tyres. The bigger the size, the higher the price. I would not spend tat much of money for deviation on spec. As you know, I am changing tyres every year; not able to pay for this high price stuff.
I changed the rim b4 for my previous car, I don't like the feel.
For economic and safety reasons, I choose to stay on the original spec.
