yeah, the tripmeter can just tell you the mileage after you'd reset it but will not give you the km/liter calculation like in most car had, right?

For the wind sound, I'd this as well but I thought it is normal? No? , let me know if the wind sound can be solved by the SC. After the braking had been solved, the FC is improved? I'm still getting less than 400km for a 60 litres (average speed @ 80km @ 2000rpm)

Azazza71, i'd also had that problem while driving there is a sound come over on the left side in front passenger side. The SC have solve the problem. It was the left side mirror rubber connected problem. If u told the SC, they will fix the rubber by change the new one....

Great to hear from you that that problem can be solved. I've this wind sound problem on front left when driving above 100km/h, perhaps my hearing is not as good as you and it should have also happened when reach 80kmh.

I can't tell the FC has improved yet ..has forget the last mileage after service the braking. Will topup fuel 2moro and start counting back..will mark the mileage once topup for full tank....hassle a bit for manually counting the mileage..

Dynasan...you get the answer from bintang timur .my 386...for the wind sound mine also come over on the left side in front passenger side..for sure will raise this issue to SC..and get them to solve it....will post again once get the mileage for 1 full tank..

yesterday 2 eastar 1 color like dynasan and 1 black color spotted at Seksyen 7 Shah Alam ....near Khulafa bistro and moms chicken rice......I saw a new design 5 spoke rim ....boleh tahan ...is sprayed black ......my batch come with an ugly rims.......

hmmm...rim in black, seem like they'd sprayed it as the ori colour is not black...anyone know where can I polish windows screen due to some mark on the screen surface...

hi all, I've been driving my eastar for the past three days, enjoying the first free full tank. The only problem found so far is the common fogging on the headlamp. On Fc, I could not tell you yet since at the moment, I did not pay much attention to it. As for riding comfortability with big family, all the past agony have gone. I'm happy with this car. The acceleration is so good eventhough on paper it is only 127hp. U need only to experience to believe it!

But,...a stone as big as bola tennis had already hit my car...hu..hu..hu.. so sad laa

jalan sg. buloh-kuala selangor, about 500 mtr from Merbau Sempak's traffic light. Culprit: lorry bw batu coming from opposite direction...need to cover the 'spot', which is just 5 inch above the left headlamp with sticker for the time being

emmmmm.......I think the touch up just under RM 50 if you can find a good reliable paint shop.....scout around la bro.....anyway can you guys check at our exhaust 'tabung' at the back....is there any small hole at the muffler ?

is chery eastar any good??

yes, there is a small hole. Other 3 eastars I checked also have the same. Perhaps, it's a standard one ma!!! don't know what the function

I went to sc today to get my fogging lamp and a slightly loose door panel fixed. All done, perfectly. Also happy to meet another 5 happy eastars' owners there. Despite some problems faced, mostly minor (interior), all seem to be very-very satisfied with eastars' performance and fuel consumption.

i also met my goodhearted SA. She told me something about the price of our sparepart.
This is the story: One eastar owner got his/her bumper replaced today (damaged in accident (if i'm not mistaken)) and the new bumper costs only rm 300. Cheap ma!!! U can verify this with Linda...

i saw the car that replaced the bumper. poor fella new car have to change bumper already. but as u said it's cheap at rm300.

the headlights that fog up is due to a small matter which u can fix at home. there are 2 rubber things with filters on each headlamp. u can remove the cap and tear away the paper filter. that will solve the fogging
