Perhaps...you can try to check spare tyre holder....put some grease on the join to the MPV body .....and 1 more thing to highlight ....put some rubber within your spare tyre and the holder ....like bicycle tyre tube to avoid your tyre kena makan ngan itu holder....if kept for too long .....cause the holder pressure......

smliu theory is true and i admit ,,.....once in blue moon fully loaded your eastar.....and the handling is more stable.....true or not is just a theory ....

other than that .....launching of Tiggo at Ampang ....this coming 7 or 8 Mac....Chery Alado invite all CMC or Eastar owner to join the launching ......official invitation I will follow up with Alado HQ PJ ......take care all...

we buy something because of a reason .....no matter what people condemn or think... its our decision ...our effort ....our courage.....I'm glad ....lots of Chery Eastar owners are purely happy eventhough jeopardize our faith at the first seems its a first MPV from China to sell here ....and no much review on this MPV except from China's car forum ....

Perhaps 800-1000 Chery Eastar already on the Malaysia's road.....that doesn't count in Labuan and Langkawi ....where CBU's sold for only RM 40K.....

Now it's been 5 months .....been through with CE .....all I can say ...value for money and bring family together.....

I'm also doesn't plan to buy this MPV ...but I've follow on Eastar since 2006 when I saw it news in one of the local paper.....

Proton Exora ...merely Chery Eastar chassis platform ......with a bit modification here and there....but in my opinion still underpower if occupy 7 adults inside.....

anyway ......we all have a reason ......enjoy happy weekend and pay day !!!

Proton has been try to JV with Chery last time in the 1st place to just rebadge chery at the 1st place .....however no MOU has been agreed.....

now with an effort to sell proton in China ...our G have to allow Chery to CKD here in Malaysia and in exchange we can sell proton there in China....

why you so sensitive when I claim exora shares merely the same platform like eastar??? because the car made in china ???? no class like a car or MPV made in Japan ????

or you feel more proud if proton tiru mitsubishi design instead of chery ???

automobile industries is like that la my friend....design copy is normal ....bit of mod here and there...a car is produced.....its not easy and have to spend millions of RM to " self design " a car chassis without have influence from other car maker design ......

waaa.....mahal ne.....

i think ....blank key can be duplicated ....controller and programming kena pegi chery la......if blank key can be duplicated already save ....coz i think duplicate blank keys might cost you only RM 10 -RM 30 ....

if you re using tiptronic.....it will show which gear that you use....lowest is 1st gear .....and when you want to shift back to D ( for normal auto gear ) please ensure you reduce speed , if not your car will go to N .... and its dangerous ....happened to me once.....so be carefull......using tiptronic is fun just like driven a manual car except you left foot stay relax.....

So who can update us on the parts price here ????

tiptronic amat sesuai gunakan dalam bandar......atau masa mendaki i.e. cameron / Genting untuk extra push .....

ianya lebih kepada mode sport .....kerana RPM untuk melahu lebih tinggi i.e. torque bertambah .....errr mungkin pengunaan petrol lebih kerana kita memaksa kereta kedalam range RPM yang lebih tinggi ( sama macam gear manual tapi tanpa pengunaan clutch kaki ..)

contohnya : kalau gear 1 ...kalau guna auto ....RPM 1.5 ke 2 ribu gear sudah bertukar .....jikalau guna tipronic ...kita boleh drag sampai REDLINE RPM !!! ( not advisable ) .....

logiknya .....gear automatic lebih jimat compare to pengunaan tipronic cuma beza pengunaannya ...dimana .....dan cara kita guna adalah begitu subjektif.

selagi ada warranty ...pi je la SC ....

cracking dasboard sound???? in my case i put double sided tape between the meter panel and the centre black piece of the dashboard ....this will settle the problem .....if this is not the 'cracking ' sound you mean ....sorry i never experienced it B4.....
