how about connecting your audio output to speaker which include headphone jack?...
*
u need to find female to female component connector and a male component to headphone jack wire, to ur wireless headphone system. If wana connect direct wired headphone u can get female to female connector and male component to female headphone jack wire.then u can use ur headphone but i guess if u use a headphone directly from ur console the volume not so good(not loud enough) as the audio signal is nt high in volume.Best is to connect ur console to an external amp then connect ur headphone 2 it then u can control the bass, treble n volume level.

The method is also same as to get ur speaker system working on your console which uses a headphone jack.

Would a wireless headphone set include volume control then? if so, then i could just get that.
I'm sort of thinking wireless would be better so i can just sit on the couch or something and not have to be near the console.

that im not sure as i know i saw at lyp got selling phillips wireless headphone nt sure of the model no. just check out the website i guess should have volume control as ur already sitting away from ur source of audio im sure they will give volume control on the headphone itself.
