Don't buy the cards only for loot cards, and especially if you don't intend to play the TCG game. Waste of money, and almost always never get..you farm for that epic mount in Stratholme also got more chance le.. A friend once told me that one sure way of getting these loot cards is buying them directly... I'm not too interested at that time so I did not go into details, but perhaps sites like ebay would have those cards... Although my friend did mention Singapore having a shop/person dealing exclusively in these loot cards.

As for how to get the loot cards, all packs have a chance. Just that booster packs have smaller chances compared to other 'bigger and more expensive' packs. Not too sure about the production of older decks, but whenever I visit hobby stores in 1U, Midvalley and Sunway Pyramid, I always see them selling the old decks as well as the new.

Look out for shops selling anime related stuff too, these usually have the packs for sale, if you want to try your luck..

go to hobbies section and look for toybox if you are in pj area.

and most of the loot card goes for about RM50 locally, except hots one like spectral mount, rocket.

i bought my picnic basket for RM45.

your calculation is wrong. to have a 1/363 chance to get the rocket you need to buy a case. a case = 20 or 24 box (i forget), and a box = 24 boosters.

so its total about RM3000 to get your rocket, and its not guaranteed you will get it.

if u want spectreal tiger u need the old deck new decks only give new items but the imp and the ethernal is dam good.

I want Path of Illidan card.... nothing sexier than a ret paladin with wings tinted red and leaving trails of fire (stupid Skull of Guldan just don't last long enough, waste of trinket slot too ;_; )

really arr ... i think it's not too good, first up you get 99 charges and the buff goes off when you mount or fly. anyway its the cheapest of the lot, i think you can get for less than RM10?

Added on October 28, 2008, 2:02 pmServants has good cards. Serpent Form and Lady Vashj come to mind, but you won't be able to make up your initial investment, because most players wont buy the Commons and Uncommons. WOW TCG suffers from Power Creep, the cards printed won't be good in 1 years time.

best to just buy the rocket straight away if you really really want it.

oh, power creep just means that the later sets will have more powerful cards than the previous sets, so they lose value over time because they become less sought after. Contrast with Magic where the 1st printing cards are still valued over RM300 for some of them.

Well, to be really honest with you, finding loots via boxes are really difficult.I've bought around 19 boxes of WoW TCG so far, 3 - 4 each set and I've not got any mount/'rare' loots yet. Mostly are those smaller loot cards that don't sell for much. But it all depends on luck so good luck TS.

Try going to Toybox at Paramount Garden. Huge player base there. I think they're having a Drums of War release celebration tomorrow at 3.30 PM. Maybe you can join them for a game or 2, probably would get your interest in the TCG going. And yes, you can buy it from them too tomorrow.
