Hmm, I created my Malaysian itunes account without the payment method too.
Bypass it by clicking none, yeah...and mine works.
Maybe you missed something out on the way. Try checking and double checking all your spaces again first, cause I'm 100% sure it's do-able without the credit card.

Don't think so, my available space is still the same after the update.
I guess if you think about it, the original firmware had to take up some space already mar, so now this new firmware just take over the old firmwares space..

Both also can, via WiFi on iPod, then you use the app button on your iPod.
Via pc, means you access itunes store.
Not too sure about jailbroken applications though..hmm.

really weird, i dunno why when i created my account, i bypassed the credit card really easily.
did they change something in the past week for creating an itunes account?

like when they asked for credit card number for purchase, i clicked something else, cant remember now what i clicked..
but there was another option so i didnt need to use a credit card to create my account.
now under my account settings, payment method it states "no payment card on file"

thats why i asked, i created my account quite a while back, so im wondering how come i can create without the need of a credit card.
im quite sure i clicked something else other than the 3 choices of credit cards they gave.
does anyone know if apple changed the rules of creating an account in the recent weeks?

Yeah i'm using the sony cassette adapter.
Got it from a sony audio shop somewhere in PJ, about rm35.
Exactly like jacques said, just a tape with a wire coming out, end of the wire is the plug to go into ur ipods earphones plug. to me its transmitted sound quality is better than the fm transmitter.

Dock line out, as in the earphone connects to the docking port?
