I have been following the post tightly. I got a few question hope you guys can clear my doubts.

Q1. I read a potential number of ipod touch 2G buyers still waiting it to be jailbreak-able before deciding to buy it. Can we buy it 1st, then jailbreak it (when its available) later? Dont understand why some of them is still holding their horses back.

Q2. Based on Apple sales trend, will Ipod 2G price be reduced? until the next gen came out (Ipod Touch 3G) which is most probably a year later?

Q3. Referring to above question, what is the best promo to buy Ipod TOuch 2G from Malaysia?

Q4. For 1st Ipod user like me. I believe the below accessories is required (sort by priority).
a) Screen protector -Invisible Shield or Best Skin
b) Pouch - Moshi Pouch : Epicentre or other retailer still have buy 1 free 1 promo?
c) Ear phone : Apple In ear headphone would probably hit RM300. Do we really need this or is there any alternative?

Correct me if i'm wrong. Ipod Touch 1G comes with 2.5mm stereo jack while Ipod Touch 2G comes with 3.5mm stereo jack

1 thing. if you get the pouch only, will you protect the a$$? Else it will be easily get scratch. Thats wat makes wonder if i should get both rebel touch and moshi pouch.

Any Apple reseller out there would like to clarify
the Ipod Touch 2G selling at lowyat forummers is valid for warranty.

According to my friend, if the Ipod touch is NOT bought from authorized Apple store/retailer, Apple Malaysia is able to deny your warranty claims

Any recommendation for a matte type screen protector for ipod touch 2g?
The 1 that came default with casing normally attracts fingerprint a lot.

Guys i am looking for the accesories before i get my new Ipod Touch.
Anyone know if i can find the below item?

1. a good matte screen protector
Requirement: does not attract fingerprint

2. Casing (still in dillema to get rebeltouch, griffin iclear, or iskinz vibe touch)
Requirement: gives good hand grip as i dont like silicon grip

3. Pouch (moshi ipouch) not sure if the casing as bulky as rebeltouch can fits in moshi ipouch.
Requirement: not sure if i need this (still considering)

I was deciding to buy neo touch but in the end pick up rebel touch for RM100

Btw how do we split songs into different category such as
->Asian (only shows ablum for asian songs)
->English (only shows english songs)

Guys quick question.
I try 1 of the game from appstore and it hangs at menu screen.
Cant turn off the ipod. But after a few minutes it got restarted i "think"
Any idea how to restart the ipod?

I personally felt Rebel Touch design is more sophisticated than Neo Touch. Therefore i opt for Rebel Touch as it is cheaper too
