ginolo, the switch website says that the official release for ipodtouch 2g 8 and 32gb is this saturday while the 16gb(apparently the most popular of the 3) will be released Nov 23rd..and apparently if you reserve now, you can get it earlier..something like that..i hope i'm right bout the last one..lol..havent gotten my ipod touch yet..how to show off now?.,,lol...

well more like trying the applications and the possibilities of the ipod itself really but yeah i dont mind showing off then get beaten up by my pals..like real friends..lol

WOO-HOO!, i just got my ipod touch..switch kch kept their word..now i must sheepishly apologize to them(in spirit)...lol..what makes no sense is why d 8gb and 32gb dont come out the same day as the 16gb..it's like they're hiding something..my pal is still waiting and slightly pissed.

yup..WEP works fine..i read a substantial amount of the ipod touch 2ND GEN only users have the same problem..

dude, if i were you i'll be real careful what i say with the word "cracked" on this thread.
WEP works for me..WPA cannot..no matter what i do..
and i thought if jailbreaking dont work can always click restore on itunes?

i guess i have to wait till the newest update for the firmware to arrive because it's a bit annoying that i cant use at work..way cooler to try this apps.

i cant wait till the next firmware update for the ipod touch(hope it's free too!), it's almost unbearable i cant use the wifi(WPA problem) near my office and in my office..plus it feels almost like a downgrade from the previous version if something like Wifi is almost useless(kinds of destroy the touch's touch really).

hmm, i have no problems with my ipod touch except for the WPA access bug which i hope will be apprehended in the next firmware update.

no news about the jailbreaking of the ipod touch yet?

i heard that the new firmware for ipod touch will introduce a download-podcast function but is, of course, limited like the rest of the itunes apps they have given us. I also read that they're giving google maps with the live view of the roads or something like that..cool but useless in my case. i also read that they rejected Opera Mini for an altenative web browser for ipod touch and that's why my friends, you will see the first thing Stereomanic would do once it's possible is to jailbreak his ipod touch baby and give it the web browser it needs..plus, opera mini renders websites faster.i just wonder if it has flash player installed..
now the only question i have is this, do we have to pay for the firmware?
