agreed .
phone functions like mp3 etc are becoming more and more useless . my phone 6230 a gift from my bro , i was thinking to use it as mp3 player . in the end pick up calls and sending sms only .
now i changed to 2630 , RM270 only and it functions as what i need. with camera for some emergency usage and thin enough .

the wifi works quite well on mine . i mean the map .

the speaker is obviously not the speaker to play songs ler , get a proper one if u areally need to use the external .

they saccrificed the speaker for thin.

well, in some circumstances , such thing does occur . i have no idea why .
as for creative mp3 player , there is one that plays 192kbps as the preferable bitrate.
