u gotta go to itunes store homepage, then click on one of the top free apps on the bottom right page, u'll be directed to your chosen top free apps, u just click install then they'll ask for ur password, or create a new account. Since u dun have password, u could only create a new account.. eventually u'll be given the "none" option when u proceed.. but thats as far as I can go.. thats why i am asking for fellow LYNers for help too...

I didn't separate out the home button with the front shield..If the home button doesn't fit you can always reassemble it.

I have been following the post tightly. I got a few question hope you guys can clear my doubts.

Q1. I read a potential number of ipod touch 2G buyers still waiting it to be jailbreak-able before deciding to buy it. Can we buy it 1st, then jailbreak it (when its available) later? Dont understand why some of them is still holding their horses back.

Q2. Based on Apple sales trend, will Ipod 2G price be reduced? until the next gen came out (Ipod Touch 3G) which is most probably a year later?

Q3. Referring to above question, what is the best promo to buy Ipod TOuch 2G from Malaysia?

Q4. For 1st Ipod user like me. I believe the below accessories is required (sort by priority).
a) Screen protector -Invisible Shield or Best Skin
b) Pouch - Moshi Pouch : Epicentre or other retailer still have buy 1 free 1 promo?
c) Ear phone : Apple In ear headphone would probably hit RM300. Do we really need this or is there any alternative?

Q1 - Yes u can.. Its juz a matter of time b4 jailbreak is available for 2g touch.. Don't know y some ppl juz hold their purchase juz to wait for jailbreak

Q2 - Unless the announced Ipod Touch 3G yesterday(which i din know of ), the price will remain the same for quite awhile

Q3 - Best promo..? I think online apple store Malaysia is giving away some freebies if not mistaken.. If u don't mind better to buy it online, cheaper..
I got my 32gb for only rm999 brand new.. Try look around for good deals..

Q4 - Yes, would be best if u can put body protector and a pouch as well to absorb shock in case of a fall.. For the earphones its best to upgrade to better earphones as apple's is crap.. Do not get the apple in ear earphone as there are many better earphones out there for that price..

just wanna ask some help over here. I have a ipod touch (1st gen) with the firmware 1.1.5. I want to install the SummerBoard to change the themes, how can i do it? I did a search online and it was suggested that i use the FWChanger app, change the firmware to 1.1.4 and install summerboard , but i cant seem to find the fwchanger in my installer.app.

plus, while using the fwchanger , some ppl claim it could give lotsa problem...is there any other way to change the themes on this 1.1.5 firmware?.

for music album
like i alrdy segment my all song to same album and same artist
however
when i using my touch
only the 1st song of the album have the album art
this is because when i add my album art
i right click the 1st song of the album and add the album art only
so any method else to make all my song with the same album have album art?

Make sure u select all item that belong in same album and right click then add the art. Make sure u have the exact album name and artist so that it will appear the same art. -send using my ipod

Have a small issue, everytime I connect my ipod to the mac for charging, iPhoto will open all the time, quite annoying leh. Is there any way to not make it open iPhoto when I connect the touch to the mac?

select/highlight all the song u want to apply the same album art on them
right click -> get info
put ur album art and done~
