OMG destroyed my GF's ipod touch earphones by spilling ink on it, OMG its so ugly now. I don't know how to remove the ink by cleaning it. Should I just buy a new one or how? Whats the price for this.

Wow, is there any risk of using solvents to clean that earplug? Duno whether the plug can get damaged or not leh...

If its so expensive to clean (my assumption biggrin.gif), might as well get a replacement earplug then?

No loss trying though.
Haha I'm about to type flawlessly via my iPod.
This keyboard is so cool when you get used with it,
I'm glad that I don't have big thumb or I'll have lot of trouble typing.
*
Lucky lah u mate... My thumbs are, unfortunately, quite large and i'm still getting used to the touch's keyboard... Even though i've had the unit for nearly two months! laugh.gif

is the 16gb one thicker than the 8gb one?
or is it the same size....
*
All same size actually... The only difference is the storage capacity, between the 8, 16, and 32GB models...

hi all, would like to check if the 2nd gen Ipod Touch's wifi detection/connection slower then 1st Gen?

i hv been using 2nd gen for 2 weeks, and noticed that after click on connecting wifi, i hv to wait quite sometimes for device to use wifi.

thanks  notworthy.gif
*
Hmmmm, my touch can connect to the WiFi quite fast actually... Once the network is detected (and WiFi is turned on), the touch is able to get online almost immediately... thumbup.gif

Not sure how fast is the 1st gen touch's WiFi connection speed though... biggrin.gif

But speaking of jailbreak, will this void the warranty of the touch?

I know its better to go for free apps but if the touch cannot be used to claim warranty should any technical faults occur, then cham already lor... Although the free games is a great PLUS! thumbup.gif

My newly bought Ipod Touch is still naked... and I dare not play with it often, afraid of leaving scars. LOL

I have no idea which skin/protection cover to buy...
*
If u want something affordable, check out the Coolcase that i have applied on my touch... It costs around M$69.00 from Mac City 1U and that silicon protector also comes with one for the screen... Some pix are shown below for ur consideration...

Hi guys. Sorry maybe im noob here. But may I ask how do we delete mp3 and pic in the ipod touch itself when we are using it. try to touch here and there but nothing happen.

Thanks
*
I don't think its possible, mate... U can only delete MP3s, pics, as well as apps stored in the touch via iTunes... Correct me if i'm wrong, though! thumbup.gif

I am looking at the pic stored in my touch and nope, there is no option to delete a particular pix, unfortunately... That would have been so convenient for us iPod users ya?

u can try the cheaper ones, as long as it provides 1A output. be wary of the quality though. if u're lucky, it'll last u a lifetime, but if u're like me, mine shorted the fuse within a day. luckily, my ipod wasn't affected. i exchanged it for the genuine ipod wall charger which is significantly more expensive. u can try the belkin one. it works just fine too
*
I kena same problem as u, mate... I used one China-made wall adapter with the USB slot and charged my iPod touch with it...

It went fine for the first time but during the second charge, the darn adapter actually bao-zha in front of me, and while i was switching it on ohmy.gif! Luckily both me and the touch didn't suffer any major damages actually... Because of this, I went to Machines and got the original Apple USB adapter...

hi guys, i noticed that this new gen of ipod touch, the gap between the chrome side and the screen tend to collect dust  doh.gif , i din find such problem for 1st gen...anyone here notice that?

i hv oso experience half way browsing safari and it just return to main screen without me pressing the homescreen  sweat.gif
*
Yeah, i agree that the gap is quite an irritant... I also noticed an amount of dust that has accumulated in the little area that is between the screen and the side... How to get rid of that dust, btw?

But safari doesn't seem to give me that many problems, though... thumbup.gif
