ambank prepaid credit card (mastercard)
so far there are no fees.
i always keep it quite empty. for example now i only have rm18 inside. if i want to make a purchase,
i physically go to the ambank cash deposit machine, insert my card and insert cash. you can check with ambank online to see when the payment goes through.

i have it linked to paypal. when i pay with paypal,  the money leaves my prepaid credit card after a few days. i guess that is how paypal works

if you put rm500 cash in your prepaid credit card, then your 'credit limit is rm500'.
if someone finds your card/hacks your account, they can't take out rm5000 because there was only rm500 to start with.

i have the linksys WRT54g. i used to have trouble connecting with wifi until i upgraded the firmware. now it works fine.
i'm in penang. and i have told a few shops/restaurants to upgrade their router's firmwares.

Malaysia was being left-out by the ipod team
And if you are setting up from a mac address book, it actually sync the "Malaysia" into the iPod, but then if you change it in the ipod, you'll just can't change it back to Malaysia.. it's not in the list.

And i have just found a work-around last week to modify and add malaysia into the list. Gonna try it.

ipod touch uses lithium battery.
lithium batteries like to be topped off.
i try not to let the battery meter reach half way. do not 'deep cycle' lithium batteries (run them to almost flat)
when i see the battery is a bit down, i charge it.

the following are myths (bullshit) about lithium batteries:
1: first charge must charge ipod overnight.
2: keep the ipod plugged in 24 hours a day.
3: run the battery flat once a week/ two weeks/ month.
